How is our mutual friend - the other Mr JB??? I have not heard from him in a while.

I see that you have already seen the trailer comp results. Well done and most deserved.

I found the Easter Egg right away and actually watched it before the main feature and thought it was fantastic.

However, I have been a bit stupid and, having read another thread, I now realise that the Easter Egg was not an official release that I had never seen but was in fact another work of genius from Mr JD.

Absolutely stunning and worthy of the full DL download just to watch the Easter Egg. RTJ is pretty good too.............

If you could fit another 5 of these for Eps 1 to 5 into your busy jet set lifestyle, I for one would be most appreciative

The download is complete and I am just doing the "Shrink" thing using the fixed files.

Once that is done, I will replace the original files, get back to seeding and watch the whole thing through tonite.

If people are struggling with the rapidshare links and there is a demand, I can upload the original files, SL fix and DL fix to my ISP webspace. the whole thing is only 210kb so it ain't a problem. Or just e-mail me......

Go on then........

As your profile is not available, e-mail me your address and format preference.

Likewise, the first two e-mails I get from non-torrent, non-newsgroup using Brits, get the format of their choice.

Once these have hit Usenet, I will start a PiF chain over here in the UK.
Three copies should be enough to get things started.
I will post a "heads up" message to get the three lucky recipients when I am ready to mail.

"The Clones Revealed" (Released)
Time
I have now seen the full thing so here is some feedback as requested..........

There is more juddering on some of the BTS scenes. Is this a PAL/NTSC different source issue??

Some of the comic shots are not on screen long enough.

I am no expert but there seem to be bits of the film missing and some scenes shortened. Am I correct there??

Subtitles would be good to explain the differences between the 35mm/70mm Theatrical and Digital Theatrical/DVD/VHS releases. Likewise the censored UK scene which I missed. Was it shown??

Also an explanation of the extra lines in the Digital Theatrical/DVD/VHS release. I think that was missed.

In the Lars Homestead, after Anakin has confessed his slaughter of the Tuskens and slumped to the floor, Padmé states, "To be angry is to be human," and Anakin responds, "I'm a Jedi! I know I'm better than this!"

In all I loved it and have only written the above as feedback cos I know that you are far from happy with the (so far) end result and asked for specifics.

I have looked back through this thread and cannot find the answer to a question I have so here goes................

V1 was released as a PAL and NTSC DVD. Correct??

V2 was released as an avi file only. Correct??

V3 has just been released as a PAL and NTSC DVD as well as an avi file. Correct??

Basically, is V2 "out there" in DVD format??

Thanks in advance for any clarification. I need the info to update my website.

Sorted. I have "weirdness" at my end!!

The DIVX player on my TV only recognises 40ish minutes and not the full thing. No idea why!!!!

The PC sees the full thing?? I will be rigging up the PC to the TV over the weekend to watch the rest............ I can't wait.

"The Clones Revealed" (Released)
Time
Clones is my 6th most favourite Star Wars film and even the many edits and extended versions out there struggle to improve the film in my humble opinion. In the past I have watched the film willing the film to end!!

Today I received the 40 minute Clones Revealed workprint which is approximately half the film only. This "take" of the film I did not want to finish. When it dawned on me that this was not a 40 minute long edit of the entire film - only half of it, I actually became rather annoyed.

To see how the film was made, bluescreens, stand in actors and artwork etc is 10 times more enjoyable to see - TRUST ME!!

As Daveytod has said from Day One, the BTS source material is scarce but what there is has been expertly added in synch to the rest of the film. A few times, I had to rewind to check where the scene changed from the film to BTS. Very well done.

Because of the lack of video material, something else had to be used. Still photographs, sketches, scans and single picture frames from the comic book were used at some of the crucial lines which work very well.

The highlight for me was the speeder chase scene which has to be seen to be believed!! How many individual cuts did you put in there?? Fantastic.

To finish, I now demand that I get to see the last half of this project and that this becomes a finished release.

Also, The Phantom Revealed has to follow along with the re-done Sith Revealed we discussed many moons ago.

Keep up the good work.............
