Guys, we did great bringing the box set down to two stars on Amazon, but the box set of only the OT is still rather high.  Could we focus on bringing that down too?  People who hate the prequels and (think) they like the OT might assume the whole box is so low because of the prequels, and thus only buy the OT and still get the crap.

Hm.  The that clip is wonderful to see, of course, but I'm glad they cut it.  "YOU COULD USE A GOOD KISS!" was a great way to end the scene.

I know they didn't, but I strongly wish they'd redo AOTC's Yoda with this one.  The CGI on Clones' is quite rough in places.

A friend of mine thinks the changes are crap, but he's "accepted" them despite hating them so he's still buying the set.  I can't persuade him otherwise.

I know someone who says they have a film reel thing of the original film.  But I don't know any details beyond that (what version, what quality, etc.).

Why are some of you guys mad about the original trilogy being editted? I mean, it's not like they were so awesome or anything... I personally prefer the new trilogy, since they're newer and have more action in them, and i'd like the originals to be reeditted and made just as awesome. I've watched the uneditted versions of the originals, and frankly i didn't like them at all, but maybe that's cuz my generation don't like movies that were made in the 70s.

Nothing's wrong with liking the PT better (though many would seriously disagree), but preferring CGI action over emotion and calling the OT "not so awesome" is just stupid.

NO what is stupid is YOU saying they are stupid, some just do not like the OT that much, why is that SO hard to understand, hell I have Friends that like the PT better, and I certainly do NOT call them stupid for doing so, and they don't me for liking the UOT. UNBELIEVABLE the mind set of some people, it is truly amazing.

My goodness, I didn't want this to become an argument.

Look, I like the PT too.  But in terms of quality I personally just find it unbelievable some prefer it over the OT.  And either way, I was more criticizing their not liking of the (O)OT more than their liking the PT.

Your post makes me shudder. I'm 18 and I prefer the OOT over anything else big time. If you prefer the Prequels' CGI action scenes over the emotion of the OT, then I'm sorry. I like the prequels too, but to say they're better than the originals is just... yikes.

I want the CGI Yoda. I want the documentaries. There's enough there for me to justify the purchase. It is pretty sickening how Lucasfilm seemed to have been wanting to keep these changes under wraps.  Just like the 2004's, it would have all been a complete surprise if it weren't for the leaks, tricking people into buying them with no knowledge.
