I do have a guess as to why they did the "NO".  Granted, it'd be a very stupid reason, but I wouldn't put it past them to care about something so trivial and not saber colors.

It's a tradition to have a dramatic "NOOO" in every Star Wars film:

TPM: Obi-Wan after Qui-Gon is stabbed.

AOTC: Obi-Wan upon Anakin's charging at Dooku.

ROTS: Anakin before attacking Mace/Vader after waking up.

SW: Luke after Obi-Wan is killed

ESB: Luke after learning the truth.

ROTJ: Some argue Luke screams "NO" after Vader threatens to turn Leia, but "officially" he says "NEVER".  So as far as I can recall, there was never a "NO" in Jedi... until now.

Granted, I AM NOT SAYING THIS MAKES THE NEW "NO" REASONABLE BY ANY MEANS.  It still sucks like hell.  I just wanted to point out their possible motivation.

It's a sad day when we prefer the 2004's over something.

I've successfully convinced one friend to cancel their Blu-Ray and pick up the 2006 DVDs instead.  Better than nothing (he wants to own them in physical form)!

The new Krayt Dragon call actually sounds really cool and creepy during that echo part, but then it becomes this new guy's voice and it just dies.

So after a couple days of setting up at college with no internet, I finally just logged onto here and

This is just... it's beyond words.

Changed Ewok eyes???  So LFL is taking previously unanimated facial features and making them digitally animated.  Sounds pretty similar to a certain famous fan edit.

Man, is Lucasfilm a step behind or what?

I hear it too.  Sounds almost electronic.

And like someone else said, the sound effects pop too.

*sigh*

About 17 minutes in so far.  Some notes:

1. Music during approach to Coruscant ends too abruptly.

2. Audio seems slightly off sync.  Probably just the mp4.

3. Music during 3P0 and R2's argument during the desert feels out of place and ends too soon.

4. Music during the Jawa's first scene feels VERY out of place, like they're some crazy tribe instead of some desert merchants.

5. We see the big ominous tube lower over R2, but we never see what it does.

Those are my only criticisms thus far.  Otherwise I'm very interested in where this concept is going.

Well, I hate to say it but there's a black spot there after all.  A good awkward few seconds long, too.  Right after Vader says "Take her away".  Either I closed it RIGHT before it happened the first time, or it only happens sometimes.  I don't know. :-/

Was the lack of being able to skip an issue for everyone or just him?

I haven't watched it yet, but I tracked down Vader talking to Leia (I assume on the Tantive, not the Death Star) and didn't see any black outs at all.

I admit I could be wrong but, look at the screen cap yourself....

 

They're completely different angles.  I guess it's possibly from an alternate take, but there's really no way to know for sure.

The Hyperspace editions look pretty good, too.

Just unsuccessfully tried to make a Star Wars mix of "Don't You Forget About Me" by matching the Main Title to it.  Sounds awful, but it was worth a try. lol

Hayden still looks the same as he did then. It would be a bit better if they filmed new footage of him that was actually meant for the scene instead of just reusing test footage. Still, I miss Shaw...

I think the art actually looks pretty nice.  For the films, at least.
