I'd convert them, except that my usual converter isn't working with the FLAC files. So I ask again, are there mp3s made by anyone? No offense to ABC's quality work, in fact quite the opposite - I want to be able to enjoy this digitally on the go via my iPod with the rest of my Star Wars expanded scores. That's all.

Tonight I started working on that. Keep in mind there has only been about a hour worth of work put into this quick clip. I just layed out a basic quick shot, to see if I could maybe make it work.

It's ugly I know, but give me some time and I'll make this look good. I'll add the closeup of anakins hand doing the force push and add the sound effect before I'm done. And of course Ill fix the background, and roto work.
I think this will look sweet once I give it alot of work.
I honestly don't think this should happen at all. At this moment, Anakin is just trying to stop Mace from killing Palpatine, not outright helping Palpatine kill him. To Force Push him would make Anakin's turn in actions way too abrupt.

and how is that different to what we ALL thought/wondered pre-1999?
Because as opposed to meeting a character and learning his backstory (Vader pre-1999), we have a well established character who is suddenly and completely transformed between two films in a series.
Also the issue of how Obi-Wan would get Anakin's saber.

I like it! Maybe have his eyes look down and up a bit, as if eying the distance between him and Obi-Wan.

That last video was a first draft that I was working on after Angel posted a pic in Windows messager (I should have mentioned that, sorry). I do plan to add back color for the engines and other small things.
The holorgram is already masked out but I was short on time and wasnt able to finish it to true OT look, but rest assured it will be taken care of.
The ending of the film right now is set in stone, and is already a pretty drastic departure from the original. I watched alot of SSWR's vids and liked them a ton. But some of it might be a bit out of my league.
A completely different ending? How different is it from that preview version from all those months ago?

Has it been considered adding slight shaking to the scenes aboard the Falcon at the end? During the asteroid chase, everyone in the Falcon is swaying left and right, but after the escape from Bespin during the dogfight with the TIEs, everyone in the cockpit and also 3P0 and R2 are still as if the ship is docked somewhere.

Hmm, well ROTS is by far my favorite of the PT series and also the movie that I felt I could do the most justice.
I wanted my first edit to set the standard for the rest of the films that will be done later. I feel that when people see what's been done to the film as a whole they will be really excited for the rest of the movies.
ROTS also ruined the background story of Vader the most for me. Dont get me wrong, TPM and AOTC screwed up Anakin's character pretty bad. But hell in ep 1 he's a kid, and in 2 he's a teenager, so I let that slide a bit.
But in EP3 this is the last chance to build up the backstory for the main villain for the next 3 films. And he's crying right up to the very end. This drives my nuts beyond all belief.
Now for those of use who grew up on the OT, we have to understand that when our childrens chlildren watch these for the first time In order from 1-6. They will have no clue as to how we felt the first time we watched Vader walk onto the screen in ANH. Even before he spoke you knew he was one evil mutha. But now it's like, "Hey,it's the cry baby!"
So really I'm doing this edit first as my attempt to restore Vader some of his dignity.
There are is still alot of details about this edit that I have not yet let out. Major changes that I feel will leave any OT fan with a huge smile across their face. The work will be done, and I just hope everyone can enjoy it as much as I know I will.
Can we dub you the Adywan of the PT?

also, i was going to mention this before. have you considered changing the motive of obiwan's motives for going to mustafar? enstead of 'destroying the sith' obiwan could go to save his friend from damnation.
yoda's lines from this scene could be repaced with him talking about their exile, and obiwan could mention that he needs to do something first.
1. Finding the saber would indicate nothing. In fact, it might even make him think Anakin died, since he would have seemingly been defenseless when the Temple was invaded.
2. Changing Obi-Wan's motives somehow would be wonderful (and back up Vader's "Obi-Wan once thought as you do" in ROTJ, I just don't know how it would be possible due to a lack of lines.
But hey, maybe Bob could pull it off. I just don't want him getting stressed over this, we've already discussed so much!

Ill be watching the scene of Anakin talking to padme before he heads out to Mustafar. Maybe a "hold this for me until I return" shot of him handing her the saber can be worked out.
If I remember correctly, the season finale of Clone Wars season 1 had a scene between Anakin and Padme in which Anakin asks Padme to hold on to his saber, for some reason I can't remember. Maybe there's some dialogue there that could be used? I believe the episode is called "Hostage Crisis".
I think the fact that the ANH saber was Anakin's is significant. It's Obi-Wan passing on the remaining good from Anakin on to the next generation of Jedi.
Maybe, when Obi-Wan leaves Padme's apartment after confronting her about Anakin's location, we could see her looking down all upset, and then on one of the shots of Obi-Wan after that, we could hear a quiet Force-swoop and see Anakin's saber float over into his robes while Padme's not looking? That way he'll always have the saber with him, leaving it on the Mustafar landing platform when he takes off his robe for the duel and obviously getting it again after (though we don't see him pick up his robe while boarding Padme's ship, strangely enough, he has it on Tatooine).

He used one to kill kids in ROTS and dropped it when his legs came off.

Well the one in ROTS still killed Count Dooku, ended the Clone Wars, was at the throat of the Emperor himself, changed the fate of the galaxy itself...
