Don't mix up things here. One thing is the tyranic imperialistic governments in control of nations worldwide, another thing is local, municipal government that handles with common daily issues like local crime.

If you legalize marijuanna, this will open precedents to other drugs and empower the drug traffic even more, as the police force won't be able to do anything. It will NOT move to corporations! Large corporations will not mess up with this kind of thing. It'll remain in the hands of crime. Kinda like gambling was handled by the mafia in Vegas back until the 70s, no one wanted to handle that, not until crazy loony Howard Hughes bought them all.

OK, the game is over, 3-0. A deserved victory? I should say yes, Ghana is tactically poor, moves foward fast but cannot score, and the defence is ridiculous. Brazil played poorly and could have done better. The referee really helped Brazil, but Ghana was playing a little rough. Best players for Brazil were:

Dida - did a fantastic defense and played very well. Sadly, the players, unable to move into the game, chose to pass the ball to him and give him the BACK, so he had to resort to kicking foward all the time.

Lúcio - after being the worst player of them all in the 2002 World Cup, he really showed some maturity, easily being the best defense player on this cup. Did what the midfielders refused to do, pratically "scored" the second goal, undeservely credited to Adriano (a player who seems to hate and be hated by the others). That was Brazil's 200th goal in World Cups, by the way.

Ronaldo - seemed to be back on track and actually moved fast. Too bad the other players could not arrange the plays to him. Scored the 15th goal in World Cups, being the #1 scorer of all times, a world record that will not be beaten easily.

Kaká seemed lost. Ronaldinho was pathetic. Adriano deserves no comments at all. Roberto Carlos did the only thing he knows: close his eyes and kick the ball as hard as he can. Notice how he dosen't actually PLAY football, he merely closes his eyes and kick the ball at any directions as hard as he can.

Let's see who'll come victorious at France and Spain, I belive Spain will win...

End of first half, 2-0... Underserved, but Brazil got some luck on their side. An offsided goal, but a penalty kick not called. Ghana has played very well offsensive, but it lacks defense, that offside line is a joke! Let's see what the second half brings us, but I seriously doubt Ghana will surprise us.

The index finger Ronaldo shows, it's a publicity stunt, a beer company's motto, "Brahma the #1". Robinho, for instance, does a V with his fingers to the side for a cell phone company logo every time he scores.

Oh I'm sure. But the guy who got the money from selling the drugs? He bought AK 47s with the drug money and killed people with it.

If you can manufacture your own drugs or whatever, and OD in any crap you want to, be my guest. If you wanna sniff glue go ahead. But the moment you buy one single herb smoke from this drugs trafficant, you're feeding worldwide crime with money. If you do drugs, you must be a freaking hypocrite to demand any work from the police force or the authorities and government.

And yes, I have to face flights constantly and I have a terrible fear of flying. It's God's way of saying "Ha Ha!" to me, in his Nelson voice.

I'm too scared to turn on my CD player or Nintendo DS on planes. I'm always afraid they'll interfere on the airplane instruments. Well, a passenger speaking in a cell phone while a plane was taking off caused it to activate the flaps or something like that and caused a major plane crash in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in 1996. Since then it is forbidden to turn it on while in a plane. So I don't take any chances. I rather read a book, read those in-flight magazines, or watch the in-flight movie: "Alive", "Final Destination", "Airport", and "The Buddy Holly Story".

I wouldn't trust ESPN on anything related to football at ALL. That was no foul, the player tripped over an Australian player who was already on the ground and not even facing the Italian. That referee will probably be absent of the rest of this World Cup.

You're Dutch? Well, I gotta tell you, I was really expecting your country to move in to the finals...

The main game is going to be Argentina and Germany, that game will pretty much decide the finals for one side (although Italy could surprise us). For the other, Now that Holland is out, things got really messed up. It'll be either Portugal or Brazil. Can't see anything else.

That really, really, REALLY surprised me... Portugal beating Holland?! All the credits should go to Scolari, he surely IS the best. I am amazed.

Great, now all my projections are ruined. OK, so I belive now that Portugal will possibly (and unfortunally) meet Argentina in the finals. I must remind you that all teams that disclassified Holland in World Cup went to the finals, and apart from Brazil in 1998, became champions.
