Plot holes in the SW saga
Time
I hope that the ghost thing is explained on episode 3, but if it isnt, we just have to figure it out for ourselves:

Qui-Gon didn't disappear.
Anakin didn't disappear.

Obi-Wan did.
Yoda did.

Qui-Gon was Dooku's master.
Anakin fell for the dark side.

Both Obi-Wan and Yoda were good Jedi knights.

Hmn... I guess that reveals something about Qui-Gon... Maybe he did something we don't know... Maybe he is not the jedi we belive he is...

Plot holes in the SW saga

I would feel cheated. I mean, he could use the following tricks to fix those plot holes:

* Amnesia (confirmed, is going to be used)
* It was all a dream
* Magic (or the Force)
* It was God's desire
* Telepathical powers being used off-screen by the characters (like, how did Padme know about the hanger)
* Sudden heart atacks (Padme? Dooku?)
* One of the characters is in fact created by some other character's imagination

Have you guys seen "Cinema Paradiso"? That priest that watched the movies before the audience did, and ringed a bell on every scene he found to be "objectionable", so they would cut it? I can hear the priest yelling in italian and the bell right now, as I read this.

And about guns being selled in wal-mart, well, watch "bwoling in columbine" and you'll know how I feel about it. 'Nuff said.

Sorry, language barrier here, by "more powerful", I don't mean powerful with the force or anything like it, I mean, has more "political power", a higher grading, I mean, like, Vader is below Tarkin in the hierarchy.

It makes sense that actors on real sets deliver better performances, and the more real things you have on set thats real, the more the actors can react to and play off of. Just think of Star Wars... synthetic sets... synthetic props... digital creatures... God do I feel for those actors.

And that's why many actors hate doing it. Peter O'Toole was originally cast as the villain in Tron, but when he learned he would have to act against bluescreens all the time, he refused to do it. I wonder what Sir Alec Guiness would have thought, if asked to act only to bluescreens - I mean he acted with real actors all the time during ANH, and he still hated it so much...

I know, but, but it goes off-character, it almost looks like it's not the same person. Like Peter Sellers in the original Pink Panther, and in the post-1975 Pink Panthers.

James bond is awesome
Time
Bond is tied up to a chair.

"So, what is it going to be? A slow moving laser bean? A golden gun duel?"
"No, Mr. Bond. None of that." *turns the radio on, dances, and cuts bond's ear*

Now, wouldn't it be cool to have a Tarantino Bond movie with Steve Buscemi as the Bond villain, and Uma as Bond girl? Of course Tarantino himself would be Q, and Samuel L Jackson as M.

"So, M... stans for MuthaFucka?"
"Corret-a-mundo."

But I remember reading somewhere that the Casino Royale book is kinda different from the other Bond books, that's why Casino Royale was later adapted to a "comedy" (and I use the word "comedy" with caution, here) and was not released as an official Bond movie. The same thing would happen to the Tarantino version (which I belive would be something like "From Dusk to Dawn" meets "Austin Powers" with no jokes, with a little bit of "Goldfinger" and "Resevoir Dogs" on it).

There's still the problem of Luke having the name Skywalker. I mean, didn't he meet someone in Tatooine who had met Anakin or his mother?

"Skywalker? Are you related in some ways to Anakin Skywalker? Former slave/pod racer?"
"Not that I'm aware of... Anakin Skywalker, eh? Wait a minute, that's my father!"
"He IS? Man... didn't you hear about it? He became Lord Vader."
"Oh crap! I better change my name fast... to... Anikin Starkiller, how does that sound?"
