OK so they all look like Greedo under those helmets? Creepy.

And, oh, here's something I ever understood: how come Han Solo can understand what Chewbacca says? I mean, those are just groans and noises he makes, how come he can understand sentences from it?

Hmn... Nah... It's just a plot hole. After all, it is only a movie. And I bet you guys didn't notice their lack of aim the first time you watched it.

I guess you have a point, a yank's accent or a sheep shagger's ... hmm... yeah I'd have to go with the yank accent. Marginally.

Indian accent! That would be a riot...

OK, maybe he's got a point here. The whole petition thing is not working properly. We need action. "Fight Club's Project Mayhem" kinda action. I want you to pick up a fight with someone who has bought the DVD. And I want you to lose. I want you to go out to the stores and burn every copy of THX-1138 and Star Wars, but only the special editions. I am Jack's special edition.

Seriously speaking now, you know what? Let people buy it, but... let's hope Lucasarts NEVER publicizes properly that this is an altered version. When people get home and watch it, they'll get pissed. There will be some angry costumers, demanding their money back. Yes, this is how we can win...

In another forum I've heard about a good idea: pre-buying it, and cancelling one week before it's released. A lot of people on this brazillian forum are going to do it (I'm not, what if I can't cancel it)...

Revenge of the Jedi poster

Nice

But the quest for the Revenge of the Jedi red poster continues. One day I shall have it. And when I have it, I'll hang it on my bedroom wall so I can see it everyday. And 3 months later I'll get tired of it and move it to a box. And 4 years later I'll misplace it and never find it again. But oh well, it's going to be 3 fun months.

Mine is from my hotmail account, and from many other logins I have. It's the first 5 letters of my first name and my last name. My other internet nick is TopCat (the hanna-barbera cartoon cat), I chose it because TopCat was on TV when I had to come up with a name, and because I enjoyed the cartoon.

I was never in love with the ending of Jedi, so I really don’t mind this change too much. While the music still isn’t that great, it’s better than the Ewok “Yub-yub” chorus.

Good thing I'm not alone on this... I never cared for the old song. I feel the new one is actually an improvement.

Yeah, thats one of the things from the special editions I really don't care about.

LOL

Why not... Weekend at Bernie's 3? The dead guy gets a girlfriend (a dead woman). They get married (in a revolting, discusting, yet funny scene). You can't go wrong in a comedy if you have necrophilia on it!

Not the "Lost Cut", which DOES NOT exist!

UMMM...ok
well this may interest you.

lost cut existing...

The best look at the Lost Cut of Star Wars so far, without being able to actually see the footage itself, comes from the aforementioned Dr. David West Reynolds, archaeologist and Star Wars fanatic; a lethal combination that contains aspects of two of Lucasfilm's best known film series. The reason Reynolds knows so much about this subject is that he's actually seen this elusive Lost Cut, having been allowed to extricate it from the depths of the Lucasfilm archives, much like the remains of an Egyptian mummy. After a little maintenance and dusting off, the reels of film were once again exposed to light and projected on a wall for careful analysis and research.

UMMM...

percolate on that coffee

I think it's only a matter of time before the famous B&W Lost Cut gets into the internet. Too bad the "2001" Lost Cut didn't surface like the Star Wars did, with its original theatrical relase trims (with more dawn of men scenes, astronauts playing piano and playing games, children on the moon base, Dave holding a blue food and slippers while in his "hotel" room)...

A parsec is a measure of time, not distance

Uh, it's distance. Remember the famous "kessel run in less than 12 parsecs" being wrong because parsec is a distance measure?

It is obvious to me what has happened. At first, they were NOT clones. Altought there is not so much evidence of this on the films, this gets quite clear on the expanded universe. Then, when GL decided to go ahead and film the PT, he thought to himself "ok, I gotta make something up about the whole clone wars thing", and he decided it would be a good thing to make the stormtroopers clones. He watched the three movies, and noticed that there was no sign indicating the opposit, besides the different voices. He didn't bother to read any expanded universe material to verify this, even the ones he personally approved. He then gathered his team on Skywalker Ranch and anounced that the stormtroopers would be the clones on the Clone Wars, and everyone thought it was a good idea, because it was GL's idea.
