Êêhh? Nan dattebayo?!

I'm a Naruto fan, yes, although the series has got a bit dragged on and silly recently. What I say to all of you americans who are willing to watch this series on CN or whatever stations airs it: GOOD LUCK, as they are going to kill the series with bad english dubbing and a lot of cuts. There's NO way they are going to air things like Sexy no Jutsu, Haren no Jutsu and Jiraya's perversions.

I like it.

You can either press the blank vote button OR vote for a non-existing number. Over here political parties have numbers, there's no political parties with 99, for example, so if you vote for 99 it appears on-screen "invalid vote", if you confirm, it's the same as taking the paper ballot and writing "donald duck", it's a vote but it dosen't count to no one.

I just assume he made sure it stayed PG-13 because it has a slightly larger viewer range than an R rating (IE teens out without their parents)

Well if I was a filmmaker I would film the movie the way I feel it's right, with nudity or gore if it has to, and whatever rating I get it's ok by me. NC-17 movies do get distributed, how was I able to watch American Psycho?

Michael Bay

Because, just before the filming of the Scarlett Johansson and Ewan McGregor love scene in The Island, she said she hated her black bra and wanted to do the scene topless. He refused to let her. I'll bet he's kicking himself right now. I think the prospect of seeing SJ topless would've been enough for the movie to recoup its production costs. Instead it floundered in its no-nude-SJ nonglory.

Dumbass

Maybe he was avoiding an R rating? Which I also think is stupid, do the movie you wanna do regardless of the rating, who cares if it ends up being an NC-17, as long as it's the movie you want?

I am and always will be an orange juice man.

That reminds me of a funny story my wife told me - in her hometown there is a mental home and one of the 'guests' is a drug dealer who was running away from the cops and hid his stash of liquid LSD under his hat as he escaped. The bottle leaked, drenching his head in the halluconogen and to this day he thinks that he is a glass of Orange Juice. If you touch him he starts screaming because you might spill him.

...until he found a girl who thought she was eggs and bacon and fell in love with her. They got married and became one happy breakfast until death took them apart - a man who was also halucinating ate them both.

We had an old 1980 JVC vcr which was pretty much like this one. It was silver, had two huge separated pieces, one on top of the other, and was also a top-loeader. there was a remote control connected through a wire although we almost never used it, we didn't have any remote controls at all, people back then didn't think it was such a big deal to get up and do things. It could only play 2 hour tapes (SP recording). There was this huge camera which was connected to the top part of the vcr, so if you wanted to use it outside you had to use a bag and carry that heavy piece of the VCR along with a huge battery... The camera did this abrupt noise when cutting scenes...

I think the earliest recording my dad has is the closing cerimony for the 1980 moscow olimpic games, but I haven't seen that tape. I did see the tape with the breaking news about the Falkland wars, it's curious to watch it today.

It eventually broke, it dosen't show colors correctly anymore, although I do belive it still works, my dad has it in a box somewhere. I remember we bought a new VCR in the early 90s and the first movie I watched on it was Tom Hanks movie "Joe Versus the Volcano", around...1991, 1992.

Compulsary voting? How democratic!

Seriously... What do they do if you don't vote? Drag you to the voting booth and force you to pull the lever? What if you hate all the cantidates?

Fortunally I was able to come to the discussion before it got ugly.

You don't have to vote if you younger than 18, older than 60 or 65 don't remember, with phisical disabilities, or if you can justify why you are not voting, which envolves simply filling up a form at the post office with any excuse you might have, even "I was on vacation" is OK. The vast majotiry of people DO vote and support this system, and so do I, and yes I think voting should be obligatory.

We use a electronic voting system, if you don't like the candidates you can vote for a non-existent number or press the "blank vote" button, so yes you can vote for no one, but you have to show up. If you fail to vote for 2 or 3 ellections you are not able to get passports, to get credit, to buy a house, but I'm pretty sure one can solve this problem by paying a fine or whatever, Im not sure. The fact is, even though it's relatively easy NOT to vote, a huge majority of people do, want to, and think this election system should remain as it is.

I used to complain so much about life when I was 13, and I used to wish I was older... HOW WRONG I WAS! Please, I beg all of you who are still in school and not working or facing the real world, ENJOY IT WHILE YOU CAN! Carpe diem!! SQUEEZE every second of your carefree unresponsible teenage years, and enjoy every freaking minute of it! As soon as you get into your adult years your life will become a living HELL that will last until your horrible deaths 60 years later, so please enjoy it while it lasts!!! Mark my words!!!

The biggest difference from what I've read is that YTAG is like old games such as Galaga in that there is no true end, it just keeps going and going and the only objective is the high score.

Kirby is more complex, and has a definite end, and a narrative, however shallow, more like Super Mario Brothers.

Yoshi T&G was a tech demo, used mostly to develop the DS, but it was so good they decided to make it into a game. It has nothing from the tech demo original code though.

I just wish Rare would break up from Microsoft's evil claws and go back for developing to Nintendo... DS would have much better games (and more games) if they did.

Yes, the TV show has the potential to be something good, and I really wish it is, I really do, but with GL in command, who knows what might come out. Yes he might surprise us and deliver an ass-kick show, who knows, maybe his style fits TV better. But when I look back to what he has done, the tendency is for the show to be a lousy, one-seasoned half-assed crap.
