And finally... Return Of The Jedi. Hmmm.... it's a shame McQuarrie didn't do any real poster work for Return Of The Jedi as the stuff out there just doesn't seem to be quite as interesting as what I got for the other covers. I simply went for battle-tasticness instead of the artwork we've seen countless times on covers before! Just edited an odd poster I could only find in diminished res. Anyone got a hi-res version of this pic? Front may change if I come across something really special and logo on front my change to original classic type too. Anyway... I'm beat now. Enjoy all...

man! all of these r freakin' cool. i'd have to say ANH was my favorite!

btw, darth solo, i met that i've got some old star wars art work from a garage sale. i new framed for all the posters/pictures. my favorite is this mosaic of star wars scenes and they all form a picture of yoda. pretty cool.

i think the reason he was such a popular character in TPM, was because, it was Episode I. just the fact u could see him in a new star wars movie was exciting.

he's always been a fun character to watch in my opinion.

btw, on the walk up scene, r u referring to the droids?

davnes did an edit a while back that had luke's head pasted over anakins in the scene of AOTC where anakin is riding the speeder bike. thus, luke's arrival is shown on a speeder bike.

You know, the asteroid slug always bothered me for some reason that I couldn't quite put my finger on, and looking at the shots above it suddenly hit me:

That's no asteroid slug!  That's Audrey 2!!!

love that movie! play also! anyways i've seen all those fan films. they're all pretty good, if u don't mind amature camera crews and corny effects. Reign of the fallen was my favorite, had awsome scenes of the sith vs. the jedi.

wat about ships? i know the time frames are different, but there's scenes where the ships are hammered with laser fire and there maybe a spark and thats it.

one good flaw during the battle of endor, a tie fighter that is flaming, crashes into the bridge of the star destroyer and does nothing.

while one laser blast that hits the bridge a little lower shows a small pint sized explosion.

the beginning stages of a cover i am working on

 very catchy.

don't mind my criticism but, the pic on the back of the case is too bright lookin and on the front with the star destroyer shown in the clouds, it looks off. and i agree with dr. frink on cloud city being in the shaft.

otherwise, i like it.

I've been working on a cover for TESB:R  (I'm also gonna make a new ANH:R cover as well) - here's the TESB one so far:

It's obviously based on the official style DVD covers and also a couple of fanmade one's out there. What do you guys think of it - any suggestions on how to improve it?

EDIT: I tried making it small, but it won't let me post it small for some reason - so sorry if it's taking up space.

very good now for comments: luke and vaders sabers look weird, yodas face is kinda strange near the bottom, the "revisited" should be shifted over to the left a little bit so the "the empire strikes back" is in between the end of the "R" and the end of the "D" and it looks a bit blurred, vader look kinda looks stretched and the end of Luke's saber is pointy/blocky.

yea, the light sabers also look weird to me also. is luke's saber purple?

He is almost a character straight out of a western though, he has this almost cowboy hat thing, and chews on a piece of straw, almost expect him to utter "aw shucks" lol.

There is not one bit about him i find terrorizing he is as terrifying as a banker, lol.

Handles business quite like one.

As a kid i never found boba terrifying either only mysterious, though vader scared the shit out of me in a this dude should not be messed with sort of way.

Then that scary villain who oozes gravitas becomes an emo douche in the form of hayden christensen.

Either i have to keep both versions of vader separate in my mind or the character is ultimately ruined, a film icon ruined by one of the people responsible for his creation.  i won't say the one person responsible because ralph mcquarrie had as much as a hand in creating vader than anyone.

The clone wars and prequels treated the villains in such a laughable manner that they can't be taken seriously its like the villains in a warner bros toon.  Whether it is ian hamming it up as palpatine in episode III, grevious in episode III or the cartoon clone wars, ventress from clone wars, and dooku in the clone wars cartoon.   They are always treated in a childish manner and completely dumb.  You always have the villains escaping like cowards especially in the cartoon

he might be a more menacing character if he had been in the movies.

on the western comment, i recall in a documentary that a viewer, who's like 80 now and saw the original ANH, that he thought it was more of a western film.
