off topic for a sec but i want a little help, does anyone here play star wars galaxies? i just started and am still lost on a lot of things.

i like the idea too. maybe a little flashback or something. that would be a hard one to pull off. lets keep the idea up there so we can come back to it.

 i loved the podrace! that was one of the best parts of the movie. one of the reasons it was so good is because it made me forget about the Trade federation and naboo and the sith. plus it gave us a look at more of the sports that are done in the galaxy aside from sabacc or holochess. those two may not count as sports

And THAT is why I am against the SE galaxy celebrations - to celebrate on Endor is one thing; to pretend that the Empire really is over and the entire imperial fleet and army is just going to let it happen is BS.

 

 the special edition galaxy celebrations i think were more for the non EU fans. those who read the EU, KNOW its not happily ever after. personally, i still like the galaxy celebrations.

 I think you mean that they made a raised prop for Frank to hide behind while he operated the Yoda puppet.  :p

the one thing with yoda, he's wat made the film great. i always accepted him as a real character. after seeing the PT and then ESB, seeing him die in ROTJ is kinda depressing.

with anakin appearing as the force ghost at the end, whether it be hayden or the other guy, ady should still make him appear out of thin air instead of just being there. it kinda takes a surprise away just seeing him already there.

if u watch the scene in ROTS where mace is battling the emperor, have u noticed how much hatred and anger he puts into wanting to kill him? i mean, mace was gonna strike the emperor down without any remorse what so ever. Don't u think he was going to the dark side?

yea, saw that a bunch of times. i think he did good in TPM. i liked all the characters, action, SE, and everything. But, once Anakin and Padme got all flirty, i wished that i was only paying attention to obi-wan's mission.

when i think of cloud city, i think of coruscant. i know we don't want that much skytraffic though. might look off.

i haven't noticed if we've done this yet, but vaderios, have u done an update of the landing platform? more speciffically the AT-AT?

i've watched that so many times and it still makes me laugh. its a classic.

i never noticed that he whines. i just now noticed it watching some scenes. still two hours of anakin and padme, i couldn't stand. i love the robot chicken parody where the emperor's yelling at vader over the phone and at one point insults padme and makes him cry.

I dunno, AOTC and ROTS are nearly identical, IMHO. It could be just one long painfully awful movie.

that was a cool movie though, i'm surprised. lets do a movie all about yoda! wouldn't that be neat? :)

alright, i watched it. if adywan wanted help with CGI, just talk to this guy. the special effects were awsome, the cgi cool, the enviorment was so real and i love how they were able to keep gollum's personality and voice in the whole thing.

now if amature film makers can do this, why can't we have the same with star wars? obviously its not impossible.

never heard of it. i wish someone would take wat they're doing and make a star wars fanfilm. maybe adaption of one of the books. revelations and those are okay, i just hate the corny acting and poor effects. my personal fav or the SW fanfilms is Reign of the fallen.

Take Luke out of it completely at first. Have him leave Dagobah and then go to Tatooine once Leia's plan goes to hell.

It would also give Jabba more weight as a villain if he screws up the heroes plans initially and Luke has to go in and rescue them.

Have the heores split up in the beginning. Luke is on Dagobah finishing his training. Leia and the rest are off rescuing Han.

But Jabba forces Luke to come to the rescue.

I dont know. Im making it up as I go. :p

funny, i was going to suggest something similiar. i think though luke should go back when he notices a disturbance and realizes its his friends who are in trouble.

true for a lot of people. personally, i'm glad i got to see wat happened. not wat i had imagined though. i wish george had been a little more creative about it.
