 its a sharp pain in ur foot that is from a type of crystal that grows in there. its hard to put pressure on it and is mostly caused from eating sea food. a fever and vagueness may occur also.

the lightsaber battle was my favorite. it was the most intense i've ever seen. i was shocked to see qui gon die. how i feel about it tday? i don't watch it very much anymore, still, its my favorite amongst the PT. mostly because darth maul's in it.

hey, the sky cars make up for the old buildings. i never really cared anyway. i'm glad though the continuity error is fixed with the falcon on the landing platform. that always bothered me.

Surely they could've made up his face with prothstetics and make-up to look like that anyway. David Prowse's face looks more like I imagined as the face behind the mask anyways.

 GL felt hayden deserved it since he was playing the character who would become darth vader.

speaking of hidden items, there's a short animation u can find on ur pc. its all in the command prompt. the aniamtions are ones and zeros. its pretty cool actually.

in the 2004 version of a new hope, u see the same kind of thing during the trench run arount the ties that are  pursuing them.

The thing with the SSD that always bugged me. It always looked so small when crashin into the death star. i still think we need new music from the PT for that scene when they attack the death star. the music i'm refering to is in TPM after anakin blows up the main reactor.

Where are the E.T.s in Ep 2 and 3?

 in episode II, when they're talking to the chancelor, u'll notice a third lifeforn sitting there who looks a lot like ET. i can't remember the episode III location. i believe it was when anakin was granted a seat on the council.

Hah! I have an idea:

Take the idea of the sail barge collapsing into the sarlaac pit, then cut in the shot of the spice worm rising up from the sand in Dune and taking out that vehicle.

Take out the vehicle and replace it with a sail barge mockup.

It's a little weird, and a bit jarring, but fun to watch I suppose. I don't think this one tops my 'Lando System?' video...but you can be the judge of that.

 that is an awsome video! i like the idea actually and wouldn't mind if we kept it. have u guys heard about some fans want ewan mcgregor, sorry if its mispelled, to be the ghost obi-wan in the movies. imagine how that would look? no one can replace alec guiness and plus it wouldn't make any freakin' since!

Once again a really nice idea on paper, firstly because when Luke started his journey it was in the bright glow of a youth looking to the future with some optimism and now he's a seasoned and slightly broken older man looking to the future with understandable dread, and we haven't seen Ben's hut in the dark so it would look familiar but different.

But if mixing one scene to the location of another is hard enough try doing it when the location was never recorded lit for night, it would make an already difficult job almost impossible.

Though I will give it a try, naturally ;-)

Not as bad as I thought and I'm getting better at the shimmer (even if it has shaved the top of Ben's hairpiece off) maybe you experts out there can do it better?

 

I'm a little confused by this idea of having Luke return to Ben's home in ROTJ?

By the way, your digital compositing work looks great!

 

 the reason for that is because luke found it a useful place to prepare for the rescue since they weren't gonna do it once they got there. i doubht they stayed in orbit for two or three days. plus luke had known, according to the novel, that obi-wan had old jedi instructions for making a lightsaber along with other force abilities.

Here are a few suggestions:

(1) I can see making it larger, but you will have to take into account the terrain around the Sarlaac itself - maybe try to make the Sarlaac bigger but keep the sand dunes it is hiding in the same size.

(2) darken and change the color of the overall Sarlaac body in comparison with the sand.  Granted, it would try to blend in, but if there was a way to indicate that a much larger creature was hiding underneath the sand as opposed to the sand pit just having a mouth at the bottom would add to believability.

(3) it looks like the tentacles are coming out of the top 2 rows of teeth.  If there is a way to make the 3rd and 4th row darker as well as "open and close" ie the real mouth, whereas the upper 2 or 3 layers of teeth are essentially the lips around the mouth, that would explain why there are tentacles there (if it was part of the mouth, granted the tents could be retracted, but wouldn't they get in the way of it trying to eat something?).  It would also alleviate the removal of the "audrey beak" if you had the lower area moving and nashing together.

(4) and in any edit, you would have to tone down or get rid of the "rubber bounce" when people land in the mouth.

 watever u want just don't get rid of the freak'n beak!

And this is a fact that cannot be emphasized enough. Those three words (it just sucked) sum up that whole scene, and the entirety of the PT beautifully. ;)

 

As far as choking Obi-Wan being the last thing on his mind, he is taking the time to yell out "I hate you" in rage while burning to death. Seems like trying to hurting Obi-Wan's feelings would be the last thing on his mind. The darkside is suppose to make you stronger, seems like while Anakin was burning to death, filled with rage of his friends betrayal, filled with fear, knowing that death would soon take him, filled with suffering as his flesh melts off his body and his internal organs begin to cook, this guy ought to have been nearly bursting at the seams with the darkside at this moment.

Surely all that fear, uncertainty, hatred, and suffering built up inside him, he could have lashed out at Obi-Wan with an attempt to physically hurt him, rather than just shouting like a spoiled child who isn't getting his way and wants to make his daddy feel badly by saying he hates him.

still, the dark side can cloud ur judgement. unless u know how to control it, u lose control. Anakin barely had any expierence then the belief he could keep those he loved form dying.
