being a kid, i could care less whether it was bad or good at the time. it was star wars! i wanted star wars! so even though the movie didn't live up to everyone's expectations, for kids, me anyways, it was all about the fun and adventure.
on jar jar, he was he most annoying character. and that is provin' due to the fact the guy who did his voice and movements was freak'n annoying. i'm surprised the set crew didn't blow up at him.

aside from the comedy of a bounty hunter flying in the background, i think the reaction time to luke's "kick" is delayed. i'm srry, but i've never read anything of a force kick. such bad choreography.

well, i was sick with cancer and i remembered that i wanted to go see that movie so bad! i was a little guy then and had to
go to an four o clock morning showing since i was highly vulderable to other people. still, there were over a hundred in the theater.

i never saw the trailer. i'm sure though people were freaking out.

4. What did you think of the hype in the Spring of '99, as it seemed like every entertainment show was talking about the first SW film in 16 years?
i thought, "Wow! these people are diving on store shelves just to get an action figure or trading card!" I thought it was
huge!
5. Did you collect any of the toys, or the merchandise from Taco Bell I think? or was it Burger King?
i can't remember if i did or not
6. When did you finally see it, opening night? opening weekend? wait for the crowds to die down and saw it later in the summer?

that would make since for the fact that obi-wan never told him where exactly to land. it would be meer coincidence that he'd land near yoda's hut.
u know, the dish isn't noticable down around the bunker. all u see is that square little building and nothing else around it. i think the sheild bunker could be expanded to be a little bigger.
i think the gun towers should be on the mountain. maybe we should put some by the sheild bunker :)
then when ROTJR starts, the long wait starts all over again. but this forum has been getting dry of suggestions due to the fact we can't think of any. i can't wait til the trailer.
ady, as u said that ur running out of footage, how about a preview at ur mock ups of the asteroid scene and the hoth generator- if u've gotten that far that is.
i don't see them making little bows and arrows though or spears.

This argument is really tired, not to mention inaccurate. They did not look like a videogame.
sorry but it is pretty accurate to describe the way the larger ships looked in the final 2 films of the PT. there was just something about them that looked more like a piece of artwork than a real object. CG can work really well for smaller ships but larger objects should always be a real object. combine the two and that video game look is eliminated. you can tell that physical models were made for TPM. it had a whole different feel to it.

as cool as that is, i don't think endor would have waterfalls due to the fact its supposed to be all forest. about 3po. he's impossible to camalflouge with that gold on. r2 is prolly easier to hid due to that fact is colors aren't as bright.
i never realized how much blue was in that movie! i don't think the color was as bad in ANH.
now that u mention it, i bet leia did remember her mother in the sense she had the blood of a jedi in her. she may have felt her mom's pain after she was born. leia said she could only remember images and feelings. so why not be able to feel her in the force? it makes since! maybe take the word images out of that line.
