good stuff.
good stuff.
Why was Cookie Monster banned?
This isn't a setup for a joke, I'm just curious.

SilverWook suggested that I rename him Commander Cloney in my edit, and I have done so.
Nice!
Someone recently told me that one of the clone troops in the PT is named Commander Cody. I'm a big fan of Commander Cody And His Lost Planet Airmen, so I can add this to my list of things I like about the prequels.
"Now there are two of them!"

This is originally sourced from Latino Review so take that as you will but:
The Amazing Spider-Man experiment is officially over. Latino Review has confirmed through a source at Sony Pictures that Drew Goddard — long rumored to join the series’ creative team — will both write and direct the upcoming reboot of the Spider-Man franchise. The series is named SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN after the comic series of the same name. Allegedly, it will contain three films and will be released over consecutive summers.
Key things to look for in the new series
- No new origin story, Spidey exists from the beginning, taken as a given
- New actor, probably an unknown, he will be specifically based in High School and they want him to be able to grow up into the role. The thought being if this works, Spidey can do multiple trilogies for years ala Harry Potter.
- A major part of the first film will involve Spider- Man fighting Iron Man and then trying to pass the “audition” to join the Avengers
- The first film will involved the Sinister Six coming together with the thought to later maybe spin them off.
IF TRUE THIS SOUNDS AMAZING, sorry, SPECTACULAR!
Sounds good, but I'd rather the Sinister Six evolve into a group over the course of a few films instead of it all happening in one.

I would consider it proper for Ceremony to be played at my funeral...
I'm having the Jam at mine...

...it's in my will ;-) because funerals should be funnier and well, it totally rocks!
Good picks!
It'll be Madness version of One Step Beyond at mine.

Devo are my favorite band of all time, and have been for some time.
Their first album was unleashed on the world in August 1978.
And it FUCKING. RULED.
Nice write up Nanner! I'm a Devo obsesso myself.
Music is my main obsession in life. I don't have time right now to gush about all the bands and artists I love, but here's a quick list of daily obsessions...
The Smiths
White Zombie
Ramones
the Cramps
Devo
Pixies
the Hives
Misfits
Though that list of bands may not reflect it, I mostly listen to old rockabilly from the 50's-60's.

So.... just out of curiosity, does anyone else suspect that Kylo Ren is going to be basically a film version of Darth Caedus?
Who?
You know, that guy whom Jacen Solo became in a parallel universe.
Who?
I'll watch Star Wars, but I'm not really "looking forward" to anything on the list.
I've said this before, but since I have nothing to offer this project besides cheer leading, I'll do some more of that..
I love these videos, Mike! Seeing your comparisons and hearing about how ya did it is always a treat.
The work you're doing is just amazing.
A certain company would be crazy to not make an offer on your finished product.
That's great!
Love that the Metropolis robot is on the cover.
Perfect!

I think they were pretending to arrest him, but I like DrCrow's explanation better. ;)
Oh, yeah, I see now.

I think that was how they got Nimoy on set to shoot Spock's brain.
Nimoy shot Spocks brain?
What does this mean??
What's with the gun?
Are they forcing him to read it?

I stumbled upon a glitch in SMB1 I had not seen before.

That's cool! I thought I'd seen all there is to see of that game. How do you do it?

Speaking of Super Mario Bros, Super Mario All-Stars (SNES) gives me such mixed feelings I feel like I might explode. WHY!?!? The graphics and sound quality it gives the games is great. But for SMB1, they fucked up the physics and nearly ruined the game! It's all choppy and hard to get momentum in all stars, in the original it was so smooth and once you mastered it I felt like you could just glide through the levels.
The Super Mario All Stars version of Super Mario Bros. 3 kicks ass though.
Yes! I have the same feelings. I was actually playing SMB1 on All Stars just a couple days ago. I had forgot that they messed the control up.

I've never understood the appeal of Scooby-Doo. Mediocre animation, lame, repetitive plots, ghosts who invariably turn out to be corrupt oil tycoons in bed sheets -- bleech.
Had I grown up watching this show as a kid -- being a fan of all things supernatural and paranormal as I was even back then -- I know I would have hated it.
Yeah, I've been into monsters and horror for longer than I can remember, and I hated Scooby-Doo when I was a kid. Still do.
That's awesome!
You've piqued my interest. I'm about to watch it now.
^Heh.. "from the producers of Evil Dead and The Grudge"...
How does making two shitty remakes of two awesome films equal bragging rights?

The only way to solve this argument is to have everyone watch a live staging of ANH:R and compare it to the HD version.
Brilliant idea, Frink! I'm totally for that! The only problem would be getting Harrison to attend. Oh yeah, and reanimating Guinness.
I got that under control.
Someone else will have to contact Harrison.
DrCrowTStarwars said:
I guess you missed the point where that was sarcasim.
Sorry about that. I did explain the point I was trying to make in the next post.
I didn't and still don't see any sarcasm there. If someone else wants to step up to bat in your defense, I'll accept that I'm wrong.
You see what happens when you make general judgements about people you hardly know and take the most extreme position possible? You come off as a blood thirsty nut job and it leads to bad things.
But I never did that. I think you're confusing me with yourself.
DrCrowTStarwars said:
The really awful thing is that because of all your money it's only a matter of time before your people get power in this country and start send everyone not born into the 1% to gas chambers because we are all lazy and just refusing to become rich and must be wiped out.
Here are the fact people like you don't get rich on your own, your wealth comes from the labor of the workers. The fact is people like you don't grow your own food, or know how to clean your own clothes. Just remember that while you may have the money numbers are on our side and every time your class has declared war on mine we have defended ourselves and won and once we win we always take revenge on people like you, so think twice before starting this war.
Wow. Missed your updated edit in this post.
Where are you getting the idea that I'm rich? I've got less than 10$ in the bank right now and 15 cents in my pocket.
You really are an ugly little person* and you have no idea what you're talking about.
If this was posted in a moderated section, I'd demand you be banned.
I now believe all the bad things you say about yourself.
DrCrowTStarwars said:
Being that you necro posted my necro posts I don't see that you have the right to complain. Call it satire or anything you want, it's still making the problem you are complaining about worse.
I've not responded in any of the threads you've necroed. Plenty of others have, even calling for you to be banned, so I dunno why I'm your target on this.
Your encouragement amounts to you saying that I am not trying to make things better, I explained that I am it just leaves me with a lot of down time because of where I live.
No, my encouragement was to tell you to keep your chin up and keep trying. You can twist that into me telling you to kill yourself if ya wanna, but that only makes you look crazy to everyone else.
Also you know nothing about me.
I've not claimed to know any more about you than what you post on this site. You seem like someone who I share many interests with, and I've tried to make friendly conversation with you about these things (Robin Hood, Star Wars, vintage tv, snazzy dressing, ect.)
People like you are why the rest of us hate the 1%.
If you think I'm anywhere close to the 1%, you're very mistaken. I'm way below the poverty line myself. I dunno where you got the idea that I was born into wealth, but you're very wrong. My parents are now in their 70's and still have to work hard everyday to make ends meet.
I hope you and your family find out some time what it is like to be really down and out and have no control over what is happen in your life.
That is a terrible thing to say to somebody. To anybody.
I hope nothing but the best for you and your family.
I've never complained about your complaints, only your reaction to encouragement.
Oh, and your necroposting. I've complained about that too.
DrCrowTStarwars said:
Of course one could make the argument that having to search for the thread you want is just as much a problem unworthy of complaint as a lack of jobs and that you can make the solution to this problem happen just as much as someone looking for a job. You could get off your butt and bump the threads you want to read
But, you see, I don't have all the time in a day to sit here searching for the threads I follow. I have responsibilities. Things I have to get done before the day ends. My time here is limited.
And, as I'm sure you are aware, I'm not the only one who feels this way.
I'd love to get these, as well as other Team Blu releases! Been looking through your work and it's just amazing!
I'd really appreciate an invite!
