...I'm instead going to bitch about how my friend was supposed to bring over beer and instead brought a bunch of sugary sweet malt liquor bullsh*t that's just going to give me a headache.  He has the alcoholic taste of a teenage girl.

One of my best friends is the same way. He can't drink anything without a ton of sugar in it. Alcohol, coffee, tea and he drinks soda all the time.
And, of course, he ignores my advice after asking how I keep weight off.

what is shh?

Look at the top of this page.

I seen the image, but I still want a definition of "shh".

It means "shit". Not as in feces, but as in miscellaneous things.
"various and sundry", if you will.
In the context of the example provided, "shh" is referring to marijuana.
"Shh" is usually used when the kiddos or others that may pick up your language and use it at inappropriate times are near.

^Same here!
2004 brought me some of my favorite new albums and films, some great re-releases and boxsets of some of my old favorite films, several of my favorite bands/artists put out what I consider their best work and some great 'comeback' albums as well.
I had a large social circle full of great people. Went to lots of great concerts and lots of great parties.
However, I was a depressed and miserable man at that time.

Anybody know of any good side-by-side comparisons of the original effects and the 'remastered' shots of TOS?
I've read that the new shots are very faithful to the originals, and I've seen comparisons where that seems to be the case. But I also have seen shots from the originals* that are styled very differently to anything I'm seeing in 'remastered'. Stars streaking by the Enterprise, colorful space backgrounds and things like that are never seen in the new version. The shots are usually static and boring.
Also, I've only watched through the first season... Maybe a bit of the second. Maybe the shots I'm talking about come later?

*at least I'm guessing that's what they're from.. I'm not familiar with Star Trek at all.

This is my channel : https://www.youtube.com/user/TrekkieChannel - I am adding a new comparison video each weekend

 Cool! Thanks for sharing!
Just watched the "ultimate computer" comparisons.
I prefer the original look.

The thing I don't like about this painting, isn't the rock, it's the left wall that is recessed behind the vertical "door" that just looks so fake because there's no depth to it (it doesn't look like the wall is going back behind the door). And also for consistency the right-hand wall should be coming further forward. I guess this is the problem when a painting is done "in-place" and there's no time to go back and do another one to fix those things...

Why does the wall on the left need to match the wall on the right? There's no need for symmetry there. Also, who said that was a door? I've always thought it was just a wall with a garage like door retracted underneath.
I don't see much problem with that part of the composite myself.

That's a really good list, Boost. I can't understand why the Old Dark House doesn't get more exposure. I guess because it has no sequels like the Big Names?

It seemed like a big wasted opportunity to not do a few discs like the one you've suggested back when they did the Legacy DVDs. Those had multiple films on each disc in order to have the complete series in each respective collection. Why not make a set or two that covers stand alone films?
(I guess those sets are on BD now... I should upgrade!)

go to the buffy blu ray facebook pages the tell you what you could do to maybe get the studio to get it to look right. the creator of buffy and a few of the people who worked on buffy are unhappy with the way it looks in hd. so please go to the facebook page maybe we can get the show to look the way it should.

There it is.
