After reading the title of this thread I thought Warwick died or something

Last night I have seen Empire of Dreams after a long, long time (maybe even the first time since 2004). I have immediately noticed a few things about the movie clips :

Star Wars

•  original crawl, no "Episode 4 A New Hope"
• orange/blue binary sunset scene
• blue lightsaber during the training sequence
• correct colors of the final shot

Empire

• correct lightsabre colors
• orange tint in the corridors of the cloud city

Jedi

• correct lightsabre colors
• original "burnt-in" Jabba subtitles
• "correct" Darth Vader ending

The shots were desaturated, but their colors look just like the screenshots

from the theatrical bootlegs. Was there any official explanation, where do these shots come from ? Or any "good sounding" theory ? :)

e04 - e06 :-) I'm not sure how I named them (I don't have the pics anymore) but I know that every picture ended with the episode number . Disc 1 has episodes 1-3, disc 2 4-6, disc 3 7-9, disc 4 10-12, disc 5 has episode 13

The uploaded file should contain screenshots from ALL episodes of season 1

AvP- great cover ! Are you able to do a cover for disc 2 till the end of the week so I can add it to the next torrent ?

Disc 2 will be online in the worst case this weekend, it depends on how late will I come home from work this week :-) But if I'll be  able to leave the office earlier it can be online any evening this week

Thanks, Pittrek. Yes, these are mostly scans of the actual cels, not screencaps. I figured you'd be familiar with the episodes after having worked on them extensively.

Good work on completing season 1. Congratulations.

Remember when you first mentioned this project back in february? It's been 8 months, but the project hasn't stalled thanks to your tireless efforts and deciding to get a version 1.0 out the door.

I've said it before, these projects stall because people set the bar too high, waiting for that perfect tape to source from, trying to include multiple dubs, just one more pass with that pie-in-the-sky cleanup filter in Avisynth...

Sometimes good enough is good enough.

Pittrek, how have you handled the double episodes? Have you bunched them together with one set of opening/closing credits, or are they left as individual episodes?

Hi, the double episodes have just one set of opening / closing credits, but you will be able to select the "second" episode separately from the DVD menu.

Not yet, but I guess it will be again 3 episodes per disc
