Looks better than the old transfer I have. I'd love to have a copy

The new design is absolutely terrible and almost nothing from the original contents is there :-(
Great find ! Do you have a "downloadable" version ?
My quote was taken from the website mentioned a post earlier, I have no idea if we can take it as a fact or if the author only assumes that it was shot in widescreen

If I can get the LD transfers done this month, who is going to take the lead on this?
I can help with things like image cleanup if necessary and/or DVD authoring ...
Ewoks and the Marauders of Endor/Ewoks II: The Battle for Endor was the second of these Ewok movie spinoffs, again made for tv but released cinematically abroad.
This time Lucasfilm seems to have intended the film for theatrical release, giving it a decent effects budget and shooting for widescreen instead of grainy tv print blow-up
I have now started to re-watch the episodes, and I'm updating my "screenshot identification" on page 3
So it looks like the official DVD, not ?
LOVE IT !

I have the MGM 1990 VHS, Not Rated, version of "the Ewok adventure". 1 hour & 36 minute run time if it helps anyone with this.
Could be great to have on DVD :-)
What I have is fullscreen but I'm watching it right now and it's pretty clean for it's age. It also has a film look, natural colors....I could fire up my DVDrecorder and make a disc. My upload speed sucks so I'd be willing to send someone a copy for upload, tweaks, what not....
Well if it's really "The Ewok Adventure" and not "Caravan of Courage", that would be a great thing to have. Well you can anytime send it to e.g. some person who has done some Ewoks DVD sets :-)

I still have my Laserdiscs. And I captured my off air VHS recording of Battle For Endor a couple years ago.
Can you make transfers of your LDs ?

Question: what was the original format of these movies? Video? Film?
I have just seen the official DVD release, but it looks like film to me
Does it have the original intro ?
Was the original version of these movies ever properly preserved ? I don't have a laserdisc player myself, but I'd love to see the movies in the state in which they were before George re-did them for the DVD release

When you are going to do the droids project ?
I don't like exact dates, because thanks to my job I usually have problem to keep them :-) I can assure you that you all WILL be informed when disc 1 will be available
Much better :)

There was a 4:3 version released on Laserdisc.

Thanks for the tip, I have already found a TV broadcast recording but in crappy quality, so an LD should be better
I've seen the sample and it looks great. You could mess around with the colours a little bit, especially the contrast could be improved drastically, but other than this I LOVE it!
The image can't be displayed for the moment!
Please go to www.gifbin.com to see it.

How does one get a Myspleen invite?
send a PM to user walkingdork - http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/Once-upon-a-time-on-MySpleen-Back-to-Normal/topic/12652/
The only thing "I" could send you were mpg2 files. VideoCollector has the original tapes
So, uTorrent is fucked. This piece of crap gets worse and worse after each update :-( Now it can't even create proper torrent files ! After I created the torrent with some "torrent maker", it works.
Does anybody have an alternative for uTorrent ? You know, something like uTorrent was 5-6 years ago ? That means small & good ?
Is there some problem with myspleen again ?
After trying to upload a new torrent I get
Upload failed!
What the hell did you upload? This is not a bencoded file!
WTF ? I created the torrent file exactly like all the others and uploaded it exactly like the others. I have deleted the torrent several times and tried to re-do it, but I still can't upload it. Any ideas ?
