Does mp4 support anything else than aac audio?
Does mp4 support anything else than aac audio?
I have only NOW found this thread. Which version of the movie is the "uncensored AND best"? On myspleen I see
Who Framed Roger Rabbit - 1080p Uncensored version
Is that the "defitinitve" version?
As I said before - if you're trying the original uloz.to links, free rapid downloader (http://wordrider.net/freerapid/ ) is much better for it
The Yoda puppet is the only thing I liked about Episode 1
Yes, of course, people wouldn't hear them. But people do hear that "something" is missing, throwing out frequencies causes "damage" also to the kept sound
128kbps mp3 vs FLAC is for me immediately distinguishable.
256kbps mp3 vs FLAC is for me just hardly distinguishable.
320kbps mp3 vs FLAC is for me absolutely indistinguishable.
I hope that words "distinguishable" and "indistinguishable" do exist :-)
Is there any chance you might return to your plan to do Episode 1?
The same was done on Slovak dubs of the prequels on the Bluray cuts - the dubs were done for theatrical cuts and for the BD cuts they simply redubbed the new scenes with completely different (and MUCH worse) actors.
I can't see ANY differences. I guess it's time to calibrate my monitor :-)
Looking forward to some clips :)
Harmy had pictures of a high quality Technicolor print, the colours of Harmy's video were matched to the colours of that print.
I'd say your pics need SLIGHTLY more red

OK guys, how's this:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0dtCY1O9WXzN2hXRmxGRjU3cFU/edit?usp=sharing(It's just the new Oscar intro)
Another tip - sorry :-) I like the "collage" of the Oscar clips, but it would be great to know for what they were received. So something like "And the winner is .... Star Wars" followed by e.g. the on screen text "Film score".
Star Wars - in the late 80's at my friend's house. He knew I love robots and sci-fi and that kind of stuff, so he invited me to watch " a good robot movie ". It was a high generation pirate VHS, 4:3 P&S, dubbed in an unknown language "overlayed" with a voiceover in another unknown language (I think it was a german dub with a polish voiceover but I'm not sure about that anymore). I didn't understand a word, but I couldn't get my eyes of the TV screen, I immediately fell in love with the characters and the straight forward action packed story.
Empire & Jedi - in the early 90's we got satellite and I've seen these movies on one of the German channels, not sure which one it was. So for many many years the droids have been for me "Tze Drei Pe Oh" and "Er zwo de zwo":)
During the 90's the movies were shown many times on different czech, slovak & german channels, and I FINALLY saw the movies on the big screen for the very first time ever in 1997. Unfortunately they were the SE, but I didn't care then.
You know what? During the 20 minutes I actually got emotionally involved, I cared about the characters and what to know what will happen to them in the main movie. I didn't care about anybody or anyone in the JJ movies. So yes, for me it's much better than the JJ movies. Still it's FAR from a great Trek movie (I love movies 1,2,4,6,8), but it's much better than the last official movies. Of course just in my opinion.
That's why I recommend Free Rapid Downloader. I get better speeds from uloz.to and there's NO CAPTCHA! Probably their OCR is better than the one built into jDownloader
If it stops after 94% it usually means that either the last or the last 2 parts or so are corrupted (check the sizes)
Great, thanks for the info
A few more thoughts - shouldn't you mention the PDEs too? If you read these threads, many people are confused about how many different versions are there. Any chance you could mention with just a few sentences what are the differences and why should people skip the previous versions?
You (or the narrator) mention(s) 2 kinds of preservations - laserdisc transfers and DE. Isn't it worth mentioning film preservation too? You know, 8mm, 16mm and maybe with 1-2 sentences mention that a couple of fans are doing a 35mm transfer (possibly without mentioning Puggo or -1 if they won't like it). It would make sense to me to mention these projects here, probably between laserdisc transfers and the DE, because later (I assume) you will be mentioning you used material from these projects?
If you talk at the beginning about the cultural impact of Star Wars, wouldn't be it useful to use a minute or two from either the TV intro or the "Making Of" documentary?
Good documentary, when will we get the other 3 parts ? :-)
A few points
1) why do you use only Williams' Oscar? I think a better way would be to start with a montage of all Star Wars oscars - I checked and all of them (or most) appear to be on youtube in pretty good quality
2) Obi-wan's scream - please use all versions, not just the first and the last
3) just a tip/question - do you plan to do a more detailed comparison of all (or the most obvious) changes done to Star Wars over the years?
Oh, you haven't seen Prelude to Axanar yet? A full 1080p version of it is on youtube now : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1W1_8IV8uhA
Why the hell did they have to survive? :(
Requirements:
- support for menus (animated if possible)
- support for chapter menues (animated if possible)
- support for "play all" functionality or "playlists"
- cheap :-)
Many people have recommended me multiAVCHD but I gave up on it, after many different attempts I never made a BD which would be playable. And since there is basically NO documentation/guides I am searching for I want to try something "professional".
After some googling I found Nero has some software called Nero Video 2014 which is ultra cheap (39.99) (http://www.nero.com/eng/products/nero-video/author.php ) but I can't find any reviews on it - does anybody know if it's worth the money? Or do you have ANY tips at all?
OK ignore that part please :-) But I'm STILL interested in finding the best source for this
No, not really "merge", I used an incorrect word. To be more precise I have created m3u playlists for all Star Wars related stuff (movies, TV shows and deleted scenes) and I'd just like to put the intro and the outro before and after Star Wars despecialized without getting a shock with the quality drop.
