I think the above set came out in 1990, with a Letterbox Edition set released 2/3 years later - with some different artwork/colouring of text on the back covers.

A general discussion thread for ‘Star Wars: Ewoks’ - the 1985/86 animated tv series…

The Premise:-

This series recounts the adventures of Ewoks years before the Battle of Endor. Here Wicket W. Warrick is a young Ewok struggling to achieve maturity in his community. This leads to a series of adventures with his friends, Princess Kneessa heir to the chieftain, Latara the aspiring musician and Teebo the animal empath.

Together, they help the adults protect the village from their enemies like Morag the Tulga Witch and their rival species, the Duloks.

Note: The penultimate episode, “Battle for the Sunstar”, shows the Ewok heroes leaving the forest moon’s surface when they go aboard an Imperial Star Destroyer that has traveled to their system. An Imperial scientist attempts to destroy the Emperor, whose shuttle makes an appearance. The episode was re-aired as the series finale.

That’d still be more preferable to watch than the Threshold episode from Voyager - which would also be infinitely better if it just showed the titles.

Thankfully there’s a fair few quality episodes out there too 😃

Below are just a few of the many legacy Original Trilogy preservation projects undertaken by the amazing community here over the years - an overview for ‘the journey of getting from there to here’… from theatrical bootlegs, home video tapings, official home video release & laserdisc-sourced conservations, 8mm & 16mm film transfers, 2006 GOUT DVD improvements, 720p & 1080p HD endeavours, despecializings, through to 35mm film preservations and 4K/UHD reconstructions. Plus a little something from across the ‘four corners of the globe’ - featuring a number of both English and non-English language projects and releases.

Some of these heritage and ‘labour of love’ preservations may have become overlooked, forgotten, lost, difficult to acquire over time… or have even succumbed to the dreaded ‘disc failure’… and this is merely my own attempt to try and remedy that. Also featured are some other endeavours from across the GFFA which may be of interest - plus a few more recent OT projects…

I don’t know what the problem is. My sig has been this exact same way for awhile. I haven’t altered it in multiple weeks. If it wasn’t a problem two weeks ago, if it wasn’t a problem last week, if it wasn’t a problem yesterday, why it is a problem now?

Likely I have noticed it when scrolling through this and the politics thread today - possibly because of the amount of posts with one lines, and also fewer other posters posting in there - and it seems the screen is half full of the signature every post.

For clarity - it’s not a ‘problem’, nor is it a ‘complaint’ - it is just a request to consider making the signature less substantial.

No mate - I don’t think there is a way to put text alongside pics in the signature box via formatting.
