Imagine Lucas thinking:
If i had known that you fans like this guy so much, i would have never killed him off. Sooooo, here he is! Just for you! I directed him to look right into the camera … well, basically he is looking at YOOOUUUU!

I never liked those additions, they’re sh*t.

Instead of adding pointless shots of Boba slumming it with the two b*tches, they could have used the SE Boba actor to redo those flipped shots and fix the issue with the range finder on the wrong side of his helmet.

Slavicuss - please choose your description of the two females you refer to more carefully.

If the other mods or I see that again warnings will be issued.

This applies to any other member posting similar descriptions too.

Thank you.

Most impressive oojason! I am guessing some of those are homemade?

Cheers mate. Yes, apart from the 3 larger boxes and the OT bluray the others are all fan-made sets some date back to the time of TR47, Gonzo, Moth3r’s Pal set, EditDroid, Isomix OT laserdisc-sourced dvd sets, and some Prequel Fan Edits, Despecialized Editions, Jambe Davdar’s Filmumentaries series, and Rogue One 😃

Some top quality covers have been made on here over the years - and lots to choose from - even for an inksaver fan such as myself.

I have mainly been doing USB covers and boxes / cases of late:-

http://originaltrilogy.com/topic/A-Star-Wars-USB-Drive-Box-Case-Tape-Tin-Frame-Figure-and-Cover-Thread/id/53879

Really like the Jabba figure you have - looks more real than the 97 Special Edition version 😃

Some quality figures there - brought back a lot of memories - nice one 😃

You could have said so in the original hahahaha post mate.

Laughing at a poster’s opinion - without stating why you find it so funny does disrupt the flow and quality of a topic somewhat. It puts them on the backfoot - they possibly may be reluctant to post further on it - or engage in further topics elsewhere - which is something we don’t want.

Plus, it’s not so much fun being laughed at.

This isn’t a specific pop at you, Frink - though it is a general request for anyone reading this… a little more civility and understanding - give a little bit more to encourage a conversation unfold and evolve - and also have a laugh too.

It could, from a certain point of view, be true… (not so much the ‘no-one buys…’ part - but a significant effect)

Youtube - a streaming service - has had an effect on itunes, due to youtube’s free content, ease of use, proliferation, and more choices of differing versions of a single track (live, acoustic, piano, cover, in-session, concert, or part of a whole album etc)… people may opt to listen to music for free on there - instead purchasing tracks from itunes.

Then we move on to tv series & film etc - the streaming sites (many illegal and free)… the ability to watch a film at any time of your choosing for free (moral and legal aspect aside) - has very likely had an effect on itunes. Game Of Thrones for example - available minutes after the episode had premiered on may streaming sites - even including the porn sites!

Itunes is more of a rigid system too - other streaming services seem more loose in comparison when cataloging content (obviously that’s subjective - and some may prefer a more rigid system), as well as the more restrictive itunes formats too…

Led Zeppelin - Immigrant Song.

Quality beat and feel that

Check out this kickin instrumental cover made by the most talented and beautiful soul this world has ever known.

https://m.soundcloud.com/jacob-martin-28/immigrant-song-jacob-martin

(In his defense he made this when he first started out recording and his sound quality has improved drastically but it still sounds ite)

Oooh! I like that a lot - nice one, ta 😃

Will also give the Jacob Martin lad a listen to soon.

Electric Youth - “A Real Hero”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cedWvuxwbc

I think I could easily get into Electric Youth - a nice flashback to good old 80’s, the girl can sing, they have a great sound, with a good 80’s style visuals too in a few videos too 😃

This song sounds familiar. I probably heard in some random commercials and movies. It is very 80’s.

Apparently it was in a Kia car advert, Taken 2, and part of the Drive 2 soundtrack as well. It’ll likely been used in other things too mate 😃 Very 80’s - without the cheesiness 😃

And on a grimmer, novemberish note:

Did you notice that each major character got the death they deserved?

Gerrera was too tired after nearly three decades of war, he finally met people who will continue his crusade.
Galen finally had a chance to see his daughter.
K2 defeated a platoon of soldiers single-handedly (literally, as he was operating the computer with his other hand) and then blew up himself to stop the enemy - obeservation: a paragon of battle droid effectiveness he was.
Chirrut being a monk prayed and prepared himself to die.
Bodhi (who is the hobbit of this film) knew that he finally did something important - and his death was quick so he didn’t even had time to be afraid.
Baze died like a warrior (Conan would be proud) : killed his opponents, avenged his brother-in-faith, smirked in the face of death. Did he also found his lost faith in the Force?
Jyn avenged her parents and completed her father’s sabotage. Cassian completed his toughest mission. And then they had (the shortest) vacation on the beach… and finally a moment for themselves - their goal was achieved.

And even Krennic… who would always pull himself up when shot… had the chance to gaze at the grand creation of his life… aiming and shooting him straight in the head. What could be his last thoughts?

This is to all the people who say R1 is just nostalgia-exploitation and “ayteeaytees”.

That’s a cool viewpoint as to how the characters met their respective ends, and their fulfilling journey to that point. Nice one.

Cool idea - there was an old Star Wars collecting thread on here - but many of the photo links in it are broken or no longer work (edit - http://originaltrilogy.com/topic/Little-Men-Little-Wars-Share-Your-Star-Wars-Collection/id/10196/page/1)

I’ll post a few of my very small collection (mainly dvds and usb boxes etc - sadly no longer any figures) up tomorrow.

That’s a sweet collection of Kenner/Palitoy figures there, marduk666 - nice one 😃

Something that may be of interest to those of us of a certain age…

My collection of vintage British Star Wars memorabilia - at www.ukstarwars.com

^ it is NOT my actual collection - it is just the title of the web site - and their cool assortment of older / OT era Star Wars stuff.

Stephen King’s IT, Page 423 of 1041. (7 pt. font on Universal Book Reader for Android. Physical book is in storage.)

which font family?

I can’t tell if that’s a serious question. E-Readers usually have multiple selectable fonts.

it wasn’t?

I also don’t understand why you would buy the physical book, but not read it. Reading a physical book is usually faster (according to the random research i have seen, google it yourself). Maybe if RayRogers was reading the book he would be done by now :p

That is intended to be good natured ribbing by the way.

Usually on the bus getting to work and also campus. Even bought the book well over 20 years ago, it’s in storage, and that’s just too much shit to lug around all day, everyday.

Also reading: Who Gives a Flying Fuck? by Handy Wankstein III.

It would seem I missed the ‘joke’ of this - it may well not have been an insult - and I have misinterpreted the last line of the post above.

My apologies to RayRogers - who is as of right now - unbanned.

No. That attitude towards fellow members isn’t on - and you’ve been warned about your attitude before.

Enjoy some time off from the site - I hope you use it wisely and improve on the attitude - as you are a decent poster without it…

But what if you want to preserve the the surprise of the crawl?

Order:

  1. Watch Crawl from ANH
  2. Hold up hand made title card that says “but first” or “24 hours earlier…”
  3. Watch Rogue One
  4. Resume ANH
  5. Profit

I prefer watching this crawl just before watching Rogue One… (only really helps if you have already seen Star Wars (1977))

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9BuyiFvLJA

though yours works too - and has the added bonus of watching Star Wars too afterwards 😃
