I recently updated my gallery with a digital Rogue One movie poster I created , would be cool to have it on a vhs box . please give me credit if you use it .https://screamsinthevoid.deviantart.com/

Nice artwork mate 😃

HMV in the UK are doing Rogue One on blu ray for £9.99 - with a new / different sleeve cover than before:-

Well done indeed. Having seen it many times, I thought I’d caught most of the deeper symbolisms. However, one that seems to have gone right over my head is when Chirrut yells to Jyn “The strongest starts have hearts of Kyber”. It hadn’t occurred to me that he was speaking about her as well as to her. I like the idea that he’s attempting to enlighten her with the knowledge of her own inner strength.

I miss many symbolisms in films - I did get a few of the Rogue One’s though - but a decent video like that always helps (me anyway 😃) I also find it adds that little extra to the characters too upon later viewings.

I’ll give that Storytellers video channel a watch - seems they’ve been around a while and have covered quite a range of films and tv. I found their Terminator video to be decent and quite insightful too.

OK, I got my graphics issues with phildesfr’s templates worked out, and finished my set for all 3 movies. These, like phildesfr’s, are for standard Blu-ray cases. I also made a tweak in the inserts I linked earlier, both the cases and the updated inserts are available at this link:

https://mega.nz/#F!ac42iZDK!J8GqOJcy8iWvltcnu0Yg8Q

Thanks to phildesfr, he did most of the work, I just tweaked them for this set. If anyone sees any errors, let me know and I’ll try to correct them.

Case Previews:

ESB: http://i.imgur.com/57qkcFE.png

I know I’m late to the party as I only recently got to check these out.
I noticed a small error on Stardork’s cover art. I tried to contact him, but haven’t heard a response.
On the Star Wars case art, it says “1997 70mm Six Track Mix” should be 1977.

Anyone have a way to contact Stardork or have a way to correct this in high res?
Trying now to find a place to print disc art, no luck so far in my area.

Here you mate (my very quick ms paint fix):-

or https://imgur.com/x5Ntu7D

I’ve no idea on how how to contact Stardork if he is not answering his PM’s - hopefully he’ll be around soon - it’s a quality set he came up with.

All the best of luck in finding a local printers for your discart too - an independent printer company or store may have the facility to do it 😃

Rogue One: The Birth of Hope’…

www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpSb8Y_8hr8 - an 11 minute video at the Storytellers youtube channel

The blurb: ‘This video essay examines how ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ symbolically bridges the tonal divide between ‘Revenge of the Sith’, and A New Hope. In doing so, I uncover the underlying archetypal ascension tale that drives the story towards the original saga.’

^ Thought it quite interesting and well worth a watch; some good insights and intriguing interpretations too.

A Star Wars USB Drive - Box, Case, Tape, Tin, Frame, Figure & Cover Thread...
Time

^ Cool project that mate - good luck with it 😃

I haven’t had much time to do any work on the video tapes as yet - but did pick up some hinges for the vhs tapes from a hardware store today, so hope to start something quite soon…

In the meanwhile, I did find these cool videos - which may be of interest for anyone with a spare SNES cart, and wants to convert one into an external USB hard drive:-

PAL carts - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ackV3KfYNts (2.5" laptop drive)

US carts - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttYmX-1I8RU (SSD)

or if you have the skills (and tools) then make your own stylish custom wooden box for a USB external hard drive - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtLkOcaUYb4

or buy a cheap transparent hard drive enclosure, like this one below:-

and then put your own custom cover in it to suit your own taste/preference 😃

Don’t sneak around like this. What is the point? It doesn’t reflect well on you - and life & time are far too short for childish antics like this.

Though don’t twist my words or selectively omit them (and then try and insert your own agenda) like you have done previously, either.

If you have something to say, then just say it - either out front - or feel free to PM me.

One of the other mods have locked this thread.

I’ll leave the last post in here with the best sigh I thought appeared in here:-

Star Wars: The Last Jedi | Training Featurette

Man that looks exciting.

DOES NOT!

Perhaps it would be an idea to give your views on the training featurette - or why you found it not to be exciting etc? Instead of just a ‘DOES NOT!’…

Don’t hit me with them negative waves so early in the morning.

😃

Indeed, why don’t you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don’t you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Please do not respond with the ‘Crap!’ line from the film.

Seriously, I suggest you expand on some of your posts on subjects like this, instead of just posting ‘DOES NOT!’

It is time to stop with the ‘sigh’ only reply. We appreciate it is your custom thing - and you can still doing your signature ‘sigh’ - yet with an added explanation / reason / opinion etc as to why underneath.

It will likely help fellow members understand as to what you are pertaining to - without having to ask what you mean and then wait for a later explanation - or help avoid any potential misunderstandings in between.

Others have been asked to stop with the ‘hahahaha’ type posts of late for the above reasons - and also in a bid to help with the flow and quality of conversations - the same applies to everyone, including yourself.

Indeed I do…

I wish I did have a Golden cart! I still make do with the regular grey cartridge from time to time, just to keep my eye in.

Jeez… Egyptian was such a pain to unlock back in the day

I found a good start re the yellow guards down the 1st tunnel was key - and a lot of patience with the guards in the next room with the closing door. Then it was those pesky automated machine guns, getting up close with Jaws so he couldn’t shoot his M16s at you, and finally a little luck (half of everything is luck…) getting up the ladder at the end without being shot.

Happy days 😃

What if OT. com had a physical copy request Topic?
So people can ask some one to make them a copy and discuss reimbursement through PMs?

No.

I advise reading the rules of the site - also the fan edit / fan preservation rules for the site too, and Harmy’s request and statement here - https://www.facebook.com/despecialized/.

I don’t mind people buying harmys Despecialized Edition

I am not saying this is not good becuase it isn’t at all but I don’t mind if people buy it I own all the files on my pc, The only way to get the files are through jdownloader and torrents the files are really hard to get some people don’t want to spend all day downloading files when they can pay somebody to do it for them.

Yet, those files are not really hard to get at all. And people do not spend all day downloading files - the computer does that for them.

Many people on here and on other similar sites have managed this - not just for Despecialized, but for other Fan Edits too.

I am pretty sure, many, many people out there have also managed to download illegal torrents of films, tv, music etc - without paying for them on ebay - even back in the days of 4-5kb/ps download speeds.
