i'm going to maybe add a faint saber glow on lukes face only in a couple of closeups. the whole glow issue seems to have been overdone a bit in the PT but the bit where they swing the sabers around their heads in AOTC is going anyway so the other glows are so quick you hardly notice them anyway

I did a re-edit of the duel you are referring to from AOTC, a while back. If you look at the re-edited sequence I did, the glow is still there in the two-shots, but yes, without the closeups, it is not really all that noticeable.

I still like the idea of just the faintest of a glow on Luke's face in a few of the scenes in ESB. Perhaps Vader's armor is not very reflective to the glow? I don't recall a lot of reflections on his armor in the other films, but I'd have to look again.

2) when Vader is talking to Luke on the platform (after cutting Luke's hand off) you can see the shell of Vader's helmet moving in the wind.

Yeh, this has been mentioned. I'm not sure if i'll be doing anything with that because we do see that the hood part of the helmet is separate and it does help show just how windy it is up there.

This was Ady's response as I had mentioned the helmet thing a while back.

And besides, isn't Vader's cape blowing in the wind enough to show that its windy?

I have to agree with the others about making it stabilized. The point of Vader's helmet being bolted on makes perfect sense to me. Just my two cents.
