Making our own 35mm preservation--my crazy proposal

Even if you don't, you understand the mechanisms which are involved in moving the frame - clicking the picture, more then the people like myself.  If people in this field of expertise could see the set up, maybe they could come up with ideas for compensating the problems of the current captures.  Which is also why I asked if there was a different title which could be used, then the capture crew could take this discussion into a forums where the 35mm savy hang out, and wouldn't get all caught up in the film, just the process of capture.  Don't know the specifics but since it's been determined that the film warps, maybe the glass sandwich is not tight enough, or maybe you only need one piece of glass and the exhaust of a small vacuum would be enough to push the frame against a piece of glass, thus removing the warpage.  Clues I don't have.  ...and I had told myself to stay out of the thread, but today's a stupid day for me, so forgive my ramblings.

My god, i can't believe the negativity here. It's only at a very early stage and people are saying how crap it's going to look. sure, it's never going to look as good as a studio professionally done transfer but what have we got at the moment?

Color-me-stupid.  Have equipment (pics or spec) been sent to the knowledgeable?  Puggo, etc.

...and is there an alternative title to practice with?  So a larger feedback base can be gained.

The desire of political and corporate entities to eliminate adult situations / experiences so everything is suitable for children under the age of 10.  But that's just the cover to make sure that 'they' remain the brand you see, not smaller organizations with alternative viewpoints.

Too late for parts of Manhattan, they pushed into Time Square, and now it's a white wash of mega media, lower Manhattan in the last 10 years pushed out the small and installed housing that only the well-to-do can afford.  They've pushed independent peoples out into the other boroughs.  Used to go to great book stores and see weird musical acts in great clubs and they're all closed or moved out of Manhattan.
