A. the 'LOC scare' as you put it happened in 1995 or 1996 most likely.  (remember it was about returning the NFR print so it could be checked if it was a better source for the Special Editions, which Lucasfilm was having issues finding a good source.)  And it's a NFR thing.  (yes it's confusing that the NFR is part of the LOC, but placing the issue where it belongs is part of understanding the debate)

B. If you have an idea for an article, suggest it.  These articles require research that doesn't happen over night.  and it has taken people time to come forward with leads on several of the articles.  heck it took almost 15 years for the NFR thing to filter down to this forums members.

Making progress, this week completed the AotC frames:

Unfortunately one of the suns and the sky share the same color range and get mosaic'd with too much of the same material.  But the end as the GOUT fades to BD transitions well.  This week see if the RotS frames can get rendered out.

What you are hearing is an authentic voice.  It's horrendous and will never be replicated and that's what makes it charming.  There's only a few outsider rappers.

He did a podcast trashing a bunch of MC's I know, and would not man up and battle them after they confronted him.

But you could be pigeonholed if it doesn't turn out right, plus Chris is onto bigger things.  and people like his music partly because he doesn't sound like a typical MC.

Why as a self called nerdcore artist you want to put down another artist in the relatively small field is for you to self rationalize.  TV's Frink and dark_jedi have the same kind of issue, why anytime rap or hip hop is discussed they feel the need to say they're not down with it and that it's not music.
