A summary of GOUT synced Video, Audio and Subtitle sources - WORK IN PROGRESS
Time

Just remembered images.google.com has a 'find similar image' component, so throw in a known high resolution cover: (good for finding overseas stores)

http://be.cherchons.com/dvd-star-wars-episode-4_1_0.html

(this is the Canadian French?)

http://www.priceminister.com/offer/buy/48077350/sort0/filter20/Star-Wars-Un-Nouvel-Espoir-Episode-Iv-Ed-Collector-DVD-Zone-2.html

This one seems to have an extra line of text under 'A New Hope', and the site is Turkish?

http://www.filmifullizle.com/kategori/filmler/aksiyon/page/8

At first thought it was the German but the text goes farther down the 'S' in Wars.  The site use some Cyrillic alphabet, so see if you all recognize something:

This one looks kinda Arabic... possibly: (maybe not, the domain .in is India)

http://www.ariadivx.in/index.php?10&page=2

*EDIT* Woah look at the title of this one!  Maybe this is the Brazilian?

Info: Non-English (UK/US) language versions of the 2006 GOUT Theatrical DVD release.
Time

Ideas for other variations could be gleamed from the 2004 releases.  According to http://theswca.com/index.php?action=disp_category&category_id=402 the 2004 set also came in Denmark, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland and Spain variations.

Also old VHS release are another thing, this threads got a pic of a Romanian VHS and TPM: http://forum.rebelscum.com/t1059603-6/

Multiple Thai VHS sets: http://www.starwarsthaifanclub.com/index.php?mo=5&qid=697583

Semi-Related but these guys have an online and downloadable database of SW stuff: http://starwarsguide.net/database/search.php  (which will be shut down at the end of the year)  Their "Media" section has many entries which is a great resource.

Info: cleaning up dirty frames for scenes

Are those the actual leader?  Parts of them match PuggoGrande:

The green '3' and the b/w 10 and even the hand drawn arrow.  Good to know that even that part is a direct duplicate, gives us another way to track variations.

Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)

^ For Frink's fan edit, he bought two copies of The Phantom Menace, just so he can say "Now there are two of them".  He's that dedicated of a PT fan-man.  (*crosses fingers* please say this is true)

Original cut showing in a theater in Wales(U.K.) tonight!
Time

The DeSpecializing term works, it lets you know the intent and potential drawbacks.  (look at all the things we still are finding changed in 97)  Not sure when in general conversation the term, DeSpecialized, got dropped and replaced with Harmy's preservation.  Maybe as he transitioned from Partially to what it is now, people realized the scope and dedication and moved the title from DeSpecialized to the man himself.

Sent an e-mail to the theater, see if anything returns.

Personally i've been enjoying the coverage.  4 channels, two seems to be playing long term events (soccer, basketball) others are mid length (tennis, volleyball) bunch of short events on the other channel (fencing, archery, handball)  Very little talking heads, its just raw coverage.  And not everything has been US only.  When they do have talking heads wish they would show in a crawl at the bottom what's happening on the other channels or what's coming up.  Guess that's what the website is for: http://www.nbcolympics.com/online-listings/day=july-28/index.html

Fencing has been awesome, really want to see some table tennis and badminton.
