Just a thought - would be really cool to see a living krayt dragon in one of the edits, making the same noise Ben uses in ANH:R 

in a recent interview, when questioned whether Han shot first, Abrams responded "I would argue there was only one shot fired"... that alone shows the potential for how he'd prefer the OT be viewed before the ST. Which leaves the PT. Yes, hed be limited to the same story, but imagine the potential alternate takes, deleted scenes, etc. that could be used to create the ultimate FanEdit. I would love to see that saga. 9 films, respectfully structured to be watched one after the other, by someone who loves them.

Of course, im sure PT:Revisited would still be better ;)

If J.J. Abrams stayed on for the whole ST, would you want to see an Abrams "director"'s cut version of the saga? With his love of the OT, I'm curious to see if he might bring us a better connected, streamlined film series. What are your thoughts?

mike, Until you are able to properly project this, any chance you can get your hands on a old transparency/overhead projector? sometimes thrift stores have them for like 20 bucks. could be agood way to get some larger, fully lit pictures.

SW is a sure thing, so theyd be stupid to lose the actors by lowballing them. The only one i see them struggling with is Carrie Fischer becase shes more than likely going to try and renegotiate for likeness rights. Mark has been open to it since the beginning - consider that he came back to do commercials for Vector Prime.

A few ideas for the movie they could be watching:

EVERY Awkward scene from AotC. They could comment on how awful it is.

Every scene from the OT where Luke and Leia are flirting, making out, etc, followed by the "Leia is my sister" scene, then Han asks, "You love him, don't you" and she says "Yes." This is followed by a string of NOOOOOOOOs from the saga.

Or they could just watch the "I am your father" reveal from Empire.

No negativity intended. I guess a lot more has been going on behind the scenes than I thought. Which is awesome!

Btw... Excuse my ignorance. I know that many people want a 2k or higher scan, but why not use something like the Kodak p460 to quickly get a "rough draft" scan out there?

I've also seen no direct acknowledgement in relation to Poita's offer, which seems quite strange to me, considering it is a realistic potential option. 

I hope that there is something going on behind the scenes here that I'm not privvy to, but... I'm slightly unsure. Would rather be cautious than get my hopes up too high.

I'm pretty sure most of us wouldn't be able to identify that simply by the music. I'm not sure whether to give props to those who can, or...

Perhaps you could show Obi Wan seeing himself in the hologram doing something he's not proud of?

Really liking the models :) Its amazing how well Ady has been able to blend these into his edits. Gives me a lot of hope for AotC and RotS, which are seriously in need of actual physical elements.

... The problem with introducing the PT to your kids is the fact that they become a part of your SW film rotation. Suddenly, you're watching it over and over again. And your children are chanting "We want Jar Jar! We want Jar Jar!" and when you finally give in and push play, there is a chorus of "Yippeeeee!"

The Nerd... come on, man. I keep trying to jump in and joke around a little bit to diffuse the tension from some of your posts, but you make it difficult.

Yes, the concept was "slightly" amusing, but look around and embrace the tone of the forums.

You're going to find a difficult crowd for blatant humor and unresearched arguments. The people working on this project are very detail oriented, to the point that most people would term it obsessive.

It's always nice to have new members, but sometimes it's good to take a step back and read the posts from other people to get a sense of how everyone will react to what you say. Also, don't ever try and present your opinions or assumptions as fact - they will tear you apart. I know, I've been there :P

So really, to avoid any more negative interactions with people around here, consider my advice. Sometimes it is all of us who are in the wrong, but face it: There are more of us and we're bigger than you.

PS: When trying to determine what is acceptable and not acceptable, please ignore TVs Frink. He's special.
