Just checked on my computer and agree. Phone screen was blowing them over the top.

Good color- Can you drop saturation in just the highlights of a specific color. The reds are a bit strong it seems.
Ideas borrowed from here would strengthen the appeal of Revisited for the sake of continuity, not sour us against the new films or future super special editions. Certainly recognition is appreciated, but we’re all playing in a world that isn’t our own and I think the risk of someone seeing something we build here and repurposing it is a small price to pay for our continued ability to play here, considering they could quite easily kick us all out.
While you’re at it, I would like a pony. Named Whiskers.
The end is nigh.
You’re a gentle wampa and sholar looking nerf herder.
Actually, I think this would be better if lando was just wearing a wampa fur cloak with the head as a hood
By the way, none of you exist until I meet you…sorry to have to bring that up but it’s true.
We don’t exist to you or at all? Does Mike Verta exist?
I picture us all lined up in your top dresser drawer… just a pile of socks.
Has anyone tried the [AUDIO FILE] Star Wars (1977): SE ’97 mix for TN1’s SSE v1.6 and Harmy’s DE 2.7 off the spleen. Just trying to decide if it’s worth getting/what opinions are on it.
My guess is if anything is happening, that they’re scratching their heads on what to do. They’ve spent decades releasing the OT together - now it’s the 40th anniversary of SW, but they only have one restoration ready. I can imagine the argument whether to try and rush the other two restorations, or release the original theatrical versions “from the vault” for a limited time on each of their 40th anniversaries, culminating in a 4k Trilogy rerelease at the same time Jedi is released on blu.
Perhaps odd question - I remember reading a while back that you were choosing between RGB and CMYK for balancing. Would there be a way to balance to both, so that the colors are adjusted by 6 offset variables instead of 3?
Dre -
Just throwing an idea out here for you. I see you start amazing projects and then work on them extensively… until you move on to the next project. Just wanted to suggest that maybe you take the trailers from the official release, and for each of these projects get the trailers color matched, complete and released. That way you have something visual that’s released that has your mark and shows what a DrDre Masterpiece looks like. (I know you’ve released your correction tools which are amazing, but I’d love to see just a finished DrDre video project put out 😃 )
Hope I’m not overstepping boundaries here, I just know I get stuck in the same rut and wanted to throw it out there for you. Could also help you hone the right colors and settings for the films prior to digging in to the really time extensive pieces.
My apologies for a link with no explanation - was half asleep posting. I was interested to see that the MonstersHD version was a workprint rather than the final product, and that page lists the differences.

Then you’ll need to DL ImgBurn. Again, it tries to DL shit and horseanus onto your PC if you allow it.
I tried to tell the Enumclaw Police Department that’s where those photos came from, but they didn’t believe me.
You’re in WA, CatBus?
Just a few visual suggestions. Spacing between items at the bottom, with the specs bar moved up.

Just a heads up, someone on the Celebration page said the version of Star Wars screened last night looked like the digital release. Not Original\97\3D.
Come to think of it though, could you set the alternate crawl as a separate video track in the m2ts that’s only the duration of the crawl. The secondary track could be Angle 2. Not sure how angles work but I’d think if angle 2 ran out it would default back to angle 1?
Look for TSMuxer 1.10.6 - Newer versions are less reliable for making compliant discs. Even if a player won’t read dual layer BD-Rs, the first layer should play just fine - since you’ve tried multiple, it’s more likely the disc/TSMuxer issue than a player issue.
I’m rather partial to Naruto. So long as you skip the fillers with talking ostriches.
Which version of TSmuxwr are you using and what’s your bluray player model?
I’m finding the silence exciting honestly. Dre has been online as recently as today but hasn’t posted in nearly a month after frequent posts. Amazing things are most likely happening behind the scenes 😃
Have considered transferring the Final Cut project to Audition? (If you don’t have it a trial should suffice just to load the files and output a lossless 5.1 mix)
I just assume everyone is 12. That’s how I maintain patience and minimal expectations.
Awesome, really looking forward to it. Maybe we can convince NJVC to whip up a Bluray release for this as well 😄
