I think that's a small issue. Especially if you watch them in numercial order. If you watched them the way it was intended then by the time you connect the music to a character it no longer matters.

But wow, I wish there was a better way than Rapidshare.... I don't have the money for a premium account which means it will literally take me 5 days to download the 10 files I need... Good thing it's not one of those 40 something links!

I actually don't feel it's neccesary to add PT aliens to OT just because when you're faced with an additional SW movie, you like to see new aliens. You don't need Ewoks in every movie (preferably none of them)... I was even bored when the Tusken Raiders were shooting at pod racers.... By not having the same aliens in every movie you get variety,and the galaxy feels much larger. Just my opinion though. =)

That's the plan, so far.  We are like 5 or 6 years away from even thinking about RotS:R.

JasonN, I like what you've got. Stick to your guns on this one and release this puppy.

I would settle for good alternate scripts. Even if the movie never comes to be, i could read the new treatments, and use the old imagination. That is still leaps and bounds better than the current prequels.

I was pretty much finished with all things Star Wars for quite a while.  I went off and did a couple of Indiana Jones edits by myself.  "Wandering in the wilderness".

Lately, I started getting into the Clone Wars TV show and it kind of rekindled my love for Star Wars again.  And since nothing has really materialized with anyone else's version of our idea, we were thinking of maybe doing a "compromise" version of Reborn.  Not the version we really wanted to do, but one more in the realm of possibility, just to be able to get our orginal ideas out there.

This time around we are talking about adding in flashbacks of the Christmas special to give Leia & Boba Fett's character more depth.

at this moment in this new ending, it really gave more character to Vader. it told more and gave more to what he was thinking, and made me realize, man, if this was in the film or an edited version, this would have been sweet.

of course anymore throughtout the films would have made my life of following starwars and my interest complete, then i seen your stuff on youtube and i was like.... finally!!

i just hope one day it gets done, doesn't have to be perfect.

46fleetline that was a great cut. The only thing I would have done differently is remove the flashback of Luke from 5 minutes prior. Other than that, a very good idea. Wouldn't be surprised of Info and TJ had already thought of something similar.

Infodroid....TJ.... DO IT! Just do it. Stop thinking... GO! NOW! =)

Speaking of Info's Indy (Wandering) edits, you for sure need to check out his Temple of Doom edit... I don't watch another version anymore.

I'd like to know as well... That was the biggest headache.

Well, I finished mine, viewed it, and found a glitch in the video... Unfortunately when I went back to fix it my external drive screwed up, and now my PC doesn't recognize it. Can't work without it, and I refuse to release an inferior version of what I've been working on.

I also want to mention this has been a complicated edit. I gave up on alternate music cues because of the way SW films are mixed...And While I think I discovered an interesting way to make it work, again, I refuse to release it until it's fixed.

Tj, and Info, I also want to say man I feel your pain. This is no simple project.

I dream of a day when we can reshoot the prequels affordably.

Oh yeah, I understand. Just curious if it was still on everyones mind. I swear, I wish Lucas would just hand over the keys to Peter Jackson, and get Lawrence Kasdan to write the trilogy, re-shoot, and BANG, happiness... 

Yeah, my Bluray movies look pretty freakin' awesome. Unless you're watching bluray on a SD set, then maybe they look about the same.

Anyone still thinking about this?
