That's it I'm sorry Ady I can't wait.

Lets hope by 2015 you have the first 3 done.

Look on the bright side.... By the time Ady gets to the prequels, technology should advance even more so he can do something really special. So, in the long run this may work to his advantage.

Anyway we can replace Hayden with Chris Pine and remove Ewan's mullet? (jk) But seriously I thought Pine as Kirk was way closer to what Anakin should have been.

Photobucket

I was actually thinking the same thing.... I thought to myself, if George died tomorrow, then someone could reshoot the prequels and use Pine as Anakin.....Oh, and a completely re-written trilogy would be nice....But yes, he would be an ideal Anakin.  He even had that Mark Hamill gaze to me.

Buy a short-term Rapidshare subscription, and download 5-10 parts at a time.  That's how I do it when I use Rapidshare (very rarely, though).

All you need to do is download all the RAR parts.  Then, once you have ALL of them, put them ALL in the same folder, and open the VERY FIRST ONE (part.01.rar or whatever it is) with WinRAR or UnRarX if you're a Mac guy like me.  It'll automatically un-rar all of them into one nice, neat ISO for you.

Then you burn the ISO to a dual-layer DVD using ImgBurn (or Toast/Disk Utility/something of the sort for Mac), and you're good to go :-)

Can I just watch it directly on my PC? I don't have any dual layer DVDs right now?

You might be able to view the .VOB files with the VLC player...

Regardless, HOW anyone goes about this is going to be DIFFICULT to say the least to make any edit so the OT payoffs are still a surprise.

The only way I know to do this is change the episode numbers. Make the prequels numbered after the OT.... Then just use voice overs from Obi-wan from OT to intro the prequels... If you do that with all the other changes you would like to make then you don't have to conceal Anakin's identity.

Yeah, it sounds like your drive is FAT32 - in order to change it, you need to reformat your hard drive, which means erasing everything.

no you don't have to do that. you can use a program like partition magic to change the formatting from FAT32 to NTFS without losing anything. All it does is change the file system so all your files aren't changed.

Hmm... I might need to try this... Now if I could fix my Maxtor drive.... Does anyone know why it keeps telling me to format when nothing is there? It keeps me from using it. Could Partition magic help this?

TMNT: Return to New York

I was also excited about this film, and then bang... Lots of misfires.

I always thought a film like this would be great in the hands of Joss Whedon.

With that, if the script had been great, I like the idea of the Turtles being animated. You have so much freedom with that.

Good luck with edit. I'll most likely take a look at what you have to offer.

Still i like the sky has a bit more blue to popup

Unlike most other times, I have to disagree with you Angel. In adywan's shot, the mountain and blue in the upper right balance the concentrated dark shape of Luke and the tauntaun in the bottom right. Add too much blue sky, and it overpowers the image. It's the first thing you see. Whereas, in ady's shot, the eye naturally hits on the dark splotch in the bottom right first, and then moves smoothly to the background where a large mountain gives the scene a dramatic sense of scale.

Oh yeah. This is a Lord of the Rings shot... The scope Star Wars deserves.

And to me the real blue sky should only appears the day AFTER luke is saved. It's a kind of bad weather before it, and the night starts to fall soon.

EDIT: first I thought the picture on the right was a Vaderios moke up, but it is from the original ESB, right? God, I can't say that I am a fan anymore...!

Yep. And to think...This was the best one....THAT HE DIDN'T DIRECT!

if you are unsure about the celebration ending, could you have it end with the pyre, then when we pan up, there are no fireworks, but maybe just end there? if we pan to stars it would be like a reverse of the star wars opening.

You should do a reverse crawl with 'The End' rushing towards the camera.

Or George Lucas' head with a bewildered look on his face!

Adywan said that it will be release in 2010.  No Christmas release, which is fine by me.  I'd rather have it perfected then have to go through the whole "XVID is different from the DVD5 is different from the DVD9 is different from the PURIST" again.

Yeah, I agree. Just very, very anxious. =)
