I see where you're coming from. I prefer that she is royalty so that it explained why Leia carries the label of Princess... And not this elected official crap, ACTUAL royalty.... Bail could be a prince which could create an awesome love triangle. Makes the marriage of Anakin and NOT Padme even more forbidden.

I was also thinking about the classic movies. Characters that had bit parts but seem to carry weight like Mon Mothma, General Nadine, Admiral Ackbar. I think it would be interesting if these characters were primaries in the prequels, so that when you see them in the bit parts later you know full well their importance.

I have all these images of what I thought the prequels and they just didn't come close.

Yes, and I think this should be worked into AOTC. Geonosis should be a place that reveals hidden truths. Whether that's Dooku telling Kenobi the full prophecy or that a sith controls the republic, I don't know. But there are some very good ideas here and elsewhere.

In other words.... Ric Olie should be in AOTC.

I always thought she would at least be force sensitive... It never shows in the prequels, but only know it because the whole, "The Force is strong in my family." line.

I don't believe they would tell Palpatine anymore than they have to. They don't like giving up to many Jedi details.... So, to me the Jedi searching for the Sith is something that's under the surface. We know they are looking for them based on TPM... The Jedi are supposed to be wise and make their words few.

However, I would love to see someone render out a vaderesque statue. That's a great idea.. Maybe pulling from some of the old McQuarrie drawings.

Thanks SSWR... Like I said, it was Vaderios idea oiriginally... And it makes more sense to add secrecy to the conversation. I kinda liked the idea that the hologram had a auto dimmer switch for the room. =)

I bold that last line because that's in the released cut at the start of the archives scene. But they shot the whole scene entirely, including all the dialogue I wrote. Now, this is a perfect setup for a "rogue" Dooku.

Now that I read that whole thing, the last line, the one that stayed sounds like there was more before... Like she was in mid-sentence almost... What a great scene that could have been!

I can almost see that being done.... but only by using footage from ROTS when he's talking to Sidious on the hologram. You could easily take Palpy's lines from AOTC and insert them there, but we would need Grievous saying "The war has begun!" We don't have that sentence at the moment... If I could get someone to do his voice saying that, I could totally make that work.

The scene was about the Lost 20 and went into description about Dooku's character. They shot it but it was cut. And yes, there are many scenes from all 3 prequels that were shot but cut that have yet to see the light of day.

Oh, I think I remember reading about that scene in the "Secret History of Star Wars" - it's the one which reveals that Dooku was one of the only Jedi to ever leave the Order, right? Yeah, that would've been a great scene for my Twilight of the Republic edit.

Yes, it goes into Jocasta telling Obi-Wan how Dooku was like his own Master Qui-Gon, a political idealist. I tell you, that would help the "Jedi gone rogue" approach immensely.

I'm just amazed at Lucas... All that stuff, and it didn't click to him that it would be more interesting for Dooku to be rogue, and not necessarily evil? What an amazingly wasted opportunity.

You should save up and get a real editor.... You have talent there.
