Anyone else watch part 1?
Anyone else watch part 1?
Good deal.
Ripplin... Did you find the changes to the TPM duel to be jarring at times?
Understood... =) More coming soon.
Oh, and of course... ADYWAN gets credit for the simple fact that I've been using his cut of ANH... Sorry, man!
From someone who loved your original door, I thought that looked 100 times better!
Ok here is part 1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cmv_OGuYRxs
It's still processing, so maybe if you give it a few minutes you will see improvement in picture quality.
Let me stress that this is a workprint of my latest draft. This is currently my favorite, but there are still some technical goofs here and there, and some areas I would like to tighten up as well... Feel free to comment on anything you see with that in mind.
The opening crawl is ok. Needs some work, but hopefully you get a good idea for what I was trying accomplish. Also, like I've said before, there was a lot here that was inspired during conversations with TMBTM. So, he deserves credit as well.
Off to work on part 2...
Ok, so apparently the chocolate worked, and Youtube and I are on a date... So, maybe I'll have the first 10 minutes in about....Well, 10 minutes I think.
Epic indeed.
Everyone knows that youtube loves chocolate.
Youtube hates me.... Not sure what's going on with that. A good chunk of the night and several video formats later, I'm trying something else.
Makes perfect sense.....
Anyone know what would be best to render to for fastest/ best quality upload to youtube?
Or a jawa urinal.
I do not want to know where jawa juice comes from.
Fixed it... Working again... Sheesh.
ok.. Anyone have a clue why framesever would just quit working on Premiere cs3? I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything and nada... It's frustrating, and I'm about to throw my hands up in defeat.
OMG.... Cs5 is looking amazing... Wow... I'm thinking NEW backgrounds for the prequels! If it's as good as the demo... Which as Ady said is almost NEVER the case.
Ric... I demand you stay where you are. How else am I going to know when the Death Star explodes unless you're there to tell me?
You win an exclusive all expense paid trip to Angel ALMOST telling you how he does his mockups. =)
I kid, Angel. Love ya, bro! ;)

Or to use the Force to open the fridge and to get in it and avoid the destruction of Alderaan.
While space monkeys swing on intergalactic vines while Padme clutches a detached steering wheel after her space hot rod crashes near a Naboo waterfall..... Sheesh....Lucas.....(Shakes head.)
Or perhaps he just uses the force...HHmmm.... No, that's retarded. That's like using the force to open the fridge.
Yeah, it would be nice. Once I get the workprint uploaded it would be great to have some fresh eyes to view it. A lot of this may be that I've been working on it for so long that nothing seems good to me anymore.
Again, my biggest issue is the visual difference between PT and OT. I've been contemplating the idea of aging everything to make it blend better. Not to a grindhouse level mind you... But just a bit.

i would love to have a rescored imperial theme in that scene as a bit of forshadowing
anyway anyone else notice that episode 2 doesn't seem to have as many tracks as the other movies
there are some good tracks from the clone wars series that could possibly be used
for example the battle of geonosis http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKE6D8bVvyc
It would be great to hear some new music where old music was used for sure, but I'm afraid the Clone Wars music sounds too much like TV music to me... Just my opinion though.
It is bizarre... It doesn't make sense, and you know why.... George wrote and it he had to do it this way to force more of his stupid plot.
You know I complained about Premiere and the fact that I always had render errors. Well, I fixed that by using the frameserver. Well, now that doesn't work. I'm in the process reinstalling everything to see if I can get it working again. Taking way longer than I planned.. Sorry to those who have been patiently waiting.
