I was playing the other day and did this.

It works.... It even looks like he's saying it. But, honestly I never had a problem with order 66 in the first place.

if i could do editing and knew all this fancy computer lingo and stuff, i would be making edits all the time.
What is stopping you from learning how to do it? ;)

I submit this question to you, old friend. I too would like to see your edit. =) CS5 is out! DO IT!

To be honest, I've just been afraid. I feel like if I do finish it and then release it, you guys won't like it and I'll have spent two years working on something that everyone hates anyways and thus preventing me from doing ESB and ROTJ (which are the two I am most looking forward to doing). I was also thinking of changing the beginning to the a re-cut sequence of ROTJ with Vader watching Luke being killed and then fade into Renascent or just leaving this for the beginning to ROTJ or just scrapping the idea completely.
The main issue is that I have all these ideas that I would like to realize, but it is difficult to do so considering I'm working with pre-existing footage...
I dunno, what do you guys think?
Gotta pipe in on this one. I've told others this, so now it's your turn.
Who are you editing this for? If you're concerned if whole mass is going to like your edit, you're in for disappointment.
Make the fanedit that YOU want to see. That's it. Please yourself, and surely someone on here will like it as you do. Not everyone, but those who agree with your choices.
I do agree that you should at least fix the glitches in your edit, but other than that, stop trying to please people, and edit this thing the way you see that it works.
Heck, you don't even have to release it. Just that it was fun, and it's what you wanted to see.
I'm getting off my soapbox now, but seriously, personally, I'd like to see your personal version of this type edit if you decide to release it. =)
Does version 3 of this edit have your 3d Mattes? Or are you still working on a V. 4?
Still running XP, 32 bit... Had no problems installing, and I never have any problems with Huffy. Just lagarith.
Ady, you said you convert to Lagarith... I've found that Lagarith gives me weird glitches. You don't have this problem? Or have you learned how to remedy it? It always gives me a frame here and there that wigs out. So I often stick with HuffyUV.

Oh, I see... *sigh*
Maybe another fantastic clip from Ady will keep us "alive and kicking" for a while (and maybe we won't go off topic so often ;-P)
Sheesh.

I suppose you're right.
Sorry... Just like to come here and... Well, mourn.
And again i say..... Sniff.
Anything new?
I hope everyone realized I was joking about Schindler's List. lol
You could just insert footage of Schindler's List.... Darn you, black and white footage!!!
I guess I need to give this a look.. Thanks for the review, Frink....
Someone needs to show me how...
Just got off of Aintitcool.com and saw this report:

Check the youtube video before it’s gone… Amazing stuff…
So, yes, OT cut scenes as a bonus on the bluray.
Anyone know how to rip one of those yet??? =)

A very interesting article with Gary Kurtz:

I want to see Luke walking off into the sunset... What a way to end the series... =/
I'm glad more and more people are seeing the workprint. Keep in mind, this is still very crude compared to what TM has in store for the final cut.
Just wanted to drop in and let everyone know that work is still continuing on this... If TM isn't talking, it means he's working! =)
haha... Yes, these were test shots for my Storybook edition of Redemption....
If only I had come up with an edit I liked, this may have seen the light of day.
Welcome to OT. I'll have to take a look at your edit at some point. =)
In conversations TM has told me that he does indeed back everything up.
Glad you got see it finally, Brash!
I wish everyone could get a look at the vision. It's a strong one. =)
Oh little Annie....Shut up.
