That new scene with Padme on the balcony on Alderaan works really well.

This edit is shaping up great.

If you like it as it looks right now, you will love it once achieved : the sequence will be much longer with a close-up of the baby, a color correction to ensure that all the sequences fits together and a new sunset fx...

and Vaderios give me a great idea to make the scene even better...

I need someone skilled with after effect

mrbenja0618  ?

PM me sir... We can start talking.

Star Wars Redemption: Episode 1 (Rendering final cut!) (* lost project *)

I like it...  I'm rotoscoping new lightsabers at the moment for those interested.... It's a LOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGG process.... I don't have anything to show... But I can show you a couple of test shots you may or may not have seen if you're curious about some of my lightsaber work.

I've posted these in the past on other threads I believe. The first visualizes an idea that has been tossed around quite a bit... The Rogue Jedi Dooku. I took my stab at a green saber.... Again, this was just a test, but I've more or less gotten rid of the rogue jedi idea as I could never find a significant payoff. However, I'm still toying with the idea of changing his saber color.

The second clip is an early test on my Redemption edit. Check the date, very old, but at about 3:20 you can see where my artsy side came out... Again, another idea that has been done away with, but still fun to watch. Also, that opening sequence/history lesson is no more....

Jeepers... I was quite the jerk just then, wasn't I? Golly, I feel awful, and I apologize to all I offended.

Truth is, I wasn't really upset about the lack of updates on my thread. It was deeper than that. I was really upset because last week I ran over my new kitten when backing out of my driveway. RIP Darth Hairball! I will dedicate this edit to your furry little sweet memory!

Anyways, I's sorry guys.

See Bingo, he did apologize. ;)

Moving your project solely to facebook and deleting all your posts here is probably the worse thing you have done, especially when it seems like your motivation is to receive attention, especially with a quote like this:

If you don't ask you will not receive. I'm getting to the point that I feel like I'm talking to an empty room. I'm pretty sure I'll probably have to take this edit and update it elsewhere.

Just because you don't get a lot of replies in here doesn't mean there is no interest in your project. Maybe you should have looked at the amount of views your page gets and not reply solely on how many replies you get. Since March, when you started this page, you have received over 3200 views, which is pretty good going for a few months. There are many lurkers here who follow many edits but hardly ever post anything in a thread. This doesn't mean that you are getting no interest in your project, but more that they feel they have nothing to say or contribute towards the edit.

Maybe you should have also been clearer on what people should search for in Facebook to find you. After a few tries i managed to find your page.

So it now seems you want to only share this with the elite few who "like" your page? Members only benefits? This is NOT the way to go if you want your edit to receive the attention you seem to crave. It will only serve to alienate people.

You would have been better off keeping everything you posted here intact and just used facebook to branch out to a different audience. There are many here that do not use facebook that could have been given you some very helpful feedback and advice. There was a member here called Anti-Matter who pretty much did the same thing because he wanted to move everything to his own self promoting website. Fan editing should never be done for glory. It should always be a personal thing and if it receives attention then that should always be just an added bonus, and never the thing that drives you.

This.

Sheesh.

EDIT: To clarify - feel free to take your edit and update it elsewhere. No one owes you anything here.

Too true. My thread is seemingly dead, but you know it's not that big of a deal. At the end of the day I'm doing this because I enjoy it. I know there are far more people reading than posting in my thread and it doesn't bother me. I'm sure the number will jump up when I release my edit.

Ultimatums are childish. Edit because you enjoy it, not because you need your accolade.

But with all sincerity I wish you the best of luck with your edit.

I feel I have. It's a bit more subtle but it works... But, i'm not 100% sure on it all yet. Geonosis is the most problematic area. However, my latest work makes it look more like tattooine than geonosis which in my opinion is a vast improvement. In other words, I've managed to remove that awful orange haze.

I've learned that you can easily overdo color correction/grading. So, I'm trying to take it easy.
