And as to RKO titles, I think it's pointless to create speculative recreations of them. I would only be on board for recreating them if someone had access to a print with the original titles, or at least frame grabs from such a print.

Agreed. No point of recreating without references (even thought Scott MacQueen did it with the Snow White titles, which was a good job by using elements from foreign prints). Speaking of RKO cards, will this be of any interests ?

Ok. Thanks ww1234. Now a question of ethic to all people interested on this Disney gig. If good recreations of the title cards of the firsts disney animated features and shorts (by good I mean more authentic than the poor job Disney has done over the years with some of their releases) were to be done, would you agree with this initiative ? For example, for the prints of Snow White, Pinocchio, Bambi and others released by RKO at first (before the release of Lady and the Tramp), all of the intertitles bearing informations of the original release were changed (sometimes the tilte cards were completely digitally redone or cut) to fit new release informations. Would you agree that we recreate those original title cards for future fan release ?

At least it can't worst than the ones Disney have done for the LD, DVD & BR, which, in some occasions, they're just poor digital recreation that you can immediately see that they were newly done without having see the original (ex: Cinderella) of just a job partially done (Pinocchio with only the RKO logo but the re-release credits).

So, would you agree with that ? Thanks to share your thoughts
