Your first reaction to Hayden is ROTJ

In that case, he's not 'some random old dude who we've never seen before', but 'some random old dude YOU'VE never seen'.

The prequel trilogy version of Anakin, you mean.

No, I was talking about before that point in time in the movie. Before the end scene, the first time you watched ROTJ, are you telling me you know exactly who was gonna be there? When I said "we've never seen," I meant a first time viewer of the saga as a whole.

And yes, I mean the PT trilogy of Anakin, I'm assuming you dislike the PT and think it is irrevalent, so I respect your opinion, and I won't discuss this topic anymore, because it seems that neither of our opinions will change anytime soon. :)

To be honest, both of the versions aren't perfect, but overall I prefer Sebastian Shaw. However, Shaw is just some random old dude who we've never seen before (don't tell me about how we saw him as Vader in the unmasking, I couldn't tell who the hell that was), and Shaw looks nothing like Anakin (who's supposed to look about 20 years younger).

But Hayden's is also bad, because when he's supposed to look at Obi Wan, he looks at his feet. (?) The ideal scene to me would be Hayden with an "older" haircut (not some pretty boy haircut), and actually LOOK at Obi Wan while actually being part of the scene.

When did you realize the Prequels sucked?

With 'different' acting, storylines and special effects, right?

Storyline was different, special effects were much more advanced.

Acting: Overall the OT had better actors, but the PT had a few good ones like Ian McDiarmid, Ewan McGregor, and Samuel Jackson. Hayden Christensen definately was not on par with those actors, he was just OK I guess.

I know you are being sacrastic, but I'm just giving you a straight answer, as if your post was serious BTW.

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

OK I have taken an hour of my life and read through the first 30 or so pages of this thread, and I see that (many) people have also suggested to leave the SE Vader's shuttle scenes, and they have been denied, so I apologize for asking a redundant question.

Thanks for being patient with me guys. :)

Still looking foward to this edit!

Aww, but they're my favorite Star Wars aircraft. :(

LOL just kidding.

I understand that most people (especially on this forum) aren't too fond of GL's "additions" on the SE DVDs, I just thought the ones in ESB weren't too bad.

Even with these changes, I'm still definately getting this... can't wait!

Star Wars coming to Blu Ray (UPDATE: August 30 2011, No! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!)
Time

Here's what they should do: make two discs for each episode of the OT. One disc of the "remastered version" where GL has done his "touch ups." The other disk should be the ORIGINAL film, in the same HD quality as the remastered versions. (Unlike the 2007 releases, where the original was in poor quality.)

And then of course you can have the extra special feature disks, in a separate box.

I don't know why, but I never really thought the prequels sucked. A lot of people point out things like Jar-Jar and how stupid he was, but that is no different than how stupid the Ewoks were in ROTJ. Then some will say that GL put some stupid droid humor scenes in the PT, but even in ANH, when Chewbacca roared at that small droid on the Death Star, and the droid ran away, I thought that was really stupid as well. They both have their flaws, but overall, they are both really great trilogies. They were just made in a different cinematic era.

To compare the two, the PT definately has more action, but the OT has more powerful scenes. Again, I think both were great trilogies, but they were made too far apart to really tie together seamlessely.

Hey guys I'm new here this is my first post and I know I'm gonna get destroyed for asking this because I'm just a casual fan but I have a couple of questons:

Adywan, I'm a big fan of what you are doing and I would like to thank you. I have A New Hope: Revisited, and I will definately get The Empire Strikes Back: Revisited.

But I want to ask: why you are changing Boba Fett's voice from the SE? Because all of your changes have to do with consistancy, and this changes just cancels out the consistancy established by the PT.

Also, on a side note, I wish (I know I'm probably the only one on here that does) that you would keep Vader's shuttle going back with the Executor. I agree with you about changing his line to "bring my shuttle," but when the SE shows Vader's shuttle, it just looks cool, those are my favorite Star Wars aircraft. Plus the music from the scene fits perfectly with that shot. I just want to know why you are scrapping that, I'm sure there's a good reason.

OK thats all for now I'm looking foward to many debates and heated arguments on here. :)
