Stephen King's IT (1990) - Original two-part version! [RELEASED]
Time

Awesome job! I haven’t watched the whole thing yet (from this project at least), but I jumped to the cut scenes and they are seamless. Can’t even tell they were removed! Funny how the commentary track mentions stuff about the aspect ratio and how they had to frame it just right for TV to fit all 7 characters (which was made fake widescreen on the DVD version for some dumb reason), plus they talk about the fact that it was a miniseries airing on two nights (even though it was made into one part on Blu and one part cut in half on a flipper disc on DVD).

I actually synced the commentary track to this edit and would like to share it as well. I had to make a couple of small modifications to the track to fit this longer version of the movie, so everything stayed in sync.

I wish Luke, Han and Leia would still be seen together in the ending.
Since it’s much more sad in hindsight in The Force Awakens, since that would be the last time they were together in a main movie.

Why not have the Ewok celebration, the planet celebration, the shot of Han, Luke, and Leia together, and finally the ghosts and then Luke by himself, in that order. That way, everything can still be there.

So, Luke just left Vader’s body chilling on Endor somewhere while he partied with his buddies?

Uh, it’s been a while since I’ve seen the movie. Better rewatch it I guess.

That would have been neat, canon does support that she was there. But it probably would require too much work to get a hold of a proper Ghost model.

Before you posted that video, I was thinking, “ghost of who?”. But now I see it’s a ship. I haven’t seen any Star Wars cartoons since the 2D Tartikovsky Clone Wars and I’ve never read a SW book (I don’t read books at all), so I really don’t know anything that’s not mentioned in the films.

Super Mario / Captain N / Zelda TV series preservations (a WIP)
Time

They are, slowly. Sorry. It’s been a bit hectic, as my wife and I just moved and we are still getting settled in and everything. But I recently got a DVD from Germany that had all of the missing episodes, but only in German. If you know anyone who can understand German, I’m looking to get them translated and redubbed into English.

The NeverEnding Story 1984 2-Disc Set is up.

Looking for a source to download this. I googled and cannot seem to find it. Landed here, seemed to be the most promising source for this item. I see it was released by Team Blu.

Yeah, I’ve been looking for it as well for a while. Just got the Japanese edition (two disc, extended German in English, and US theatrical), may try to recreate it, if possible. Don’t have a BR reader for PC yet, though.

Saved by the Bell in chronological order (a WIP)
Time

I finally moved into my new apartment/ state (Ohio to South Carolina), so I can start working on stuff like this again. I have to get my computer all set up again. I remember I had some discs done, but not all. Does anyone have any Disney Channel and NBC recordings of the Miss Bliss episodes (the first 13 eps listed above)? They were never released for purchase in any format, neither the original, nor Saved by the Bell-ized (NBC) versions. I’d like to preserve both versions. To me, they are the true season 1 of the show. I only have recordings of the NBC versions as aired on TBS, so they may have syndication cuts, and they do sometimes have watermarks and that thing where they squeeze the show to fit credits/ advertisements during the show.

No, it’s ROTJ that only has three. The others have four and I’m hoping he’ll add one to ROTJ.
(that’s probably not what you meant, but.)

Dots at the end of the crawl

Yeah, I would’ve never in a million years have noticed that.

I’ll be disappointed if we don’t reach the $1000 target

First of all, I’m sorry I couldn’t donate, as I’m currently moving from Ohio to South Carolina and am in between jobs and looking for an apartment.

Anyway, I stupidly took your challenge to mean that, you would match any each and every one single person who donated between zero and 1000 bucks. Meaning if Sam donated 1000, you’d donate 1000. Then if Sally donated 800, so would you. Next, Bob donates another 1000 and, again you match it. But if Jim donated to 1001 dollars, you wouldn’t match that. I was thinking, “Man this guy must be rich! What if 15 people each donate $1000! Then he’s out $15,000!” I don’t think I’ve ever even had 15 grand at one time.

I really like the idea some people had to move the scene of Luke on Dagobah to the beginning of the movie, to make it seem as if he returned for more training earlier than he did, and also add the lightsaber building scene here, made to look like it takes place on Dagobah.

Star Wars prequels were mapped out in 1981, only nothing like the way they turned out
Time

Thanks for bumping this, as I’d never heard about it before. Most of these 1981 ideas should be used for Adywan’s prequels revisited. I wouldn’t have the kids be born and six months old yet, though. That would be as shown in Revenge of the Sith, where Vader was led to believe his child(ren) died in childbirth, along with their mother. In reality, Padme would go along with Bail and his wife to Alderaan, and die two years later, as Lucas stated in 81.

I just want to take a moment and let Everyone know that once I am back up and running I will share all we have done to date, I keep getting PM’s here and other places and for now I just cannot do anything, PC needs an upgrading bad after my water cooler FU, so once that is done I cannot do shit at them moment, believe me this sucks!

Thanks

I would gladly donate to help fix/ upgrade your PC if that helps your team!

I tried to join BHD, but they won’t let me because I’ve never used irc before. It’s too confusing anyway. I’ll wait until I can find stuff via regular internet/ torrents.

Fine. I will.

Forgive me if this has been answered before, but I’m guessing it’s a different Editroid that made all those Star Wars preservations many years ago. It HAS to be!

I’m one of those “dumb Americans” who only knows his own time zone, so I had to Google, 6:00 PM Saturday, Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) is
2:00 PM Saturday, Eastern Time (ET). So, about and hour and a half. Sounds good, but I’m out of town with only a cell phone. I can wait.

A lot has changed since Star Wars Revisited was released 10 years ago. What is the plan for distribution?

It will be an 8gb(approx) 720p mkv file at first, most probably available through usenet and direct download links. Torrents will most likely crop up not long after. The 25GB bluray and DVD will follow later in the year once i have completed the special features, which i haven’t started yet because i have been concentrating on getting the edit out of the way first

I don’t know why everyone assumes straight to myspleen? Myspleen only does torrents, and Adywan said it will not be a torrent right away.
