My media player is having a bit of trouble playing the paradox download

Is that because it's in iso format? i extracted the files from the iso with winrar then made a mkv with mkvmerge.

Great job Harmy, looking forward to the Blu-Ray.

I've no idea. I did the same and tried both files, the video kept sticking but audio kept going then the picture would speed up and catch up also had a load of green blocking and noise just as 3po says "were have you been" to R2, but downloaded the spleen one and hey presto no messing. I use a a Cyclone Micro3 to stream from my 500gb hdd which can be very moody at times, but hey ho.

Kingherb what version of mkvmerge do you use?

Had a quick flick through this last night and I must say how great it looks and sounds well done Harmy and co.

My media player is having a bit of trouble playing the paradox download so will get it again via the spleen today (will let it seed as long as I can) and will be giving it a spin on the projector tonight so will upload a few pictures, maybe a quick video of it on a big screen if anyone's interested.

Not to throw water on the idea, but I'm babysitting two such prints, plus a third that is the 1977 version.

All are on reels too big to fit on the gear Puggo uses.

Silverwook is it not possible to transfer them to different sized reels? I would presume this would mean cutting them maybe? Forgive me if this a dumb question, the fact you have an original 77 version makes me weak at the knees, have you been able to watch them? have you any screen shots?

I don't trust the projector I have to safely play them. It can take a 1200 reel, but it struggles with a 600 reel. I'm aching to watch it and find out if it's the true mono mix or not.

I don't have the gear to downsize the reels.

There are screenshots in the original auction. Alas, the youtube video is no longer there. It was beautiful.

Oh man it would drive me nuts. Have you looked into doing a scan job it somehow? Yeah I saw the video when it was originally up for auction but I'd love to see a better one I'm so jealous of you both.

30 years: Your Memories of Waiting for ROTJ
Time

I remember, and this is the gods honest truth, that I heard a rumor that the next movie was going to be called "Planet UBX40" (I know) and the story was going to involve the Wookie race! I dont know were I got all this from but I told everyone In the school yard.

I actually remember buying the "Revenge of the Jedi" figures before seeing the movie. And no I dont have any :-(

Great news, poita! :) And I agree with you, take your time and go for quality. All I can say is that after you have the highest quality capture possible, make a full backup of the raw capture files on an external hard drive and keep the backup copy in a safe place, just in case. :)

Oh, and please, no cutting of the film to make it fit on different reel sizes. haha =P

Are you taking the mick? I meant so it would fit on smaller reels as it was originally, if you read the description it has been spiced together from 4 smaller reels.

Smart ass!
