Yeah the game’s graphics are just next level stuff. I believe there’s a cinematic option that let’s you play around with the camera, creating different scenarios.

Yeah I’d say go for it. With a workprint it helps to convey the changes holistically, making it easier to give back feedback.

Specially intrigued by how you’ll pull off the opening scenes:

-Insert Nasa blue planet clip
-Add Rey meditation scene
-Create new scene with Leia talking to Luke about Reys training
-Cut to Luke from TLJ night scene
-Insert Lukes death scene from TLJ (switch day to night fx)

I really like the music choice, it just screams Mustafar.

A combination of the troop assault and the establishing shots from this thread would really give the scene its due introduction.

I think it’s worth experimenting with having Kylo with his helmet on during the Exogol scene, you get alot more dialogue options to play with that way and prior to that you could have him reconstruct it on Mustafar.

I think if we’re to have Kylo on Tatooine this would be a feasible way of doing it. We could have Kylo’s ship parked beside the homestead, creating anticipation for him to appear. This way you could get away with replacing the ghosts with Kylo. She looks to her right, smiles at kylo, he looks back at Rey, shot of Rey and Kylo silhouettes gazing at the twin suns, add the ghosts of Luke, Leia and Han for good measure.
Fin.

Edit: You could even have both the Falcon and Kylo’s ship take off towards the sunrise in separate ways.

I hope you’re right but it doesn’t explain Disney clamping down on everything to do with deleted scenes. I guess what I’m getting at is that there must be fire under the smoke.

They probably made two different films with all the reshoots they did.

He’s interacting with the memory though…the idea is that Leia is basically making him re-live it because he felt so torn in TFA. Leia was trying to show Kylo that, as well…that it’s never too late to reject the dark path.

Anyway, that’s my two cents…just a visual suggestion, but Hal is free to go in the direction he feels is best. It’s primarily his flick after all as the editor/director. 😃

I see your point, I just prefer it if the nature of Han’s appearance was left ambiguous while still implying that Leia was a part of it. Leaves more place for the imagination.
