No wait... I LIKE THAT THEORY!! Its ALL Warbler's fault whenever a bad movie is made!!!!

That explains it all! Whoo-hoo!

Remember- from now on if you watch it, and it sucks- blame the Warb!!!

You know it! I usually only 'drink' my breakfast- black coffee- because I've found eating in the morning just makes me hungrier througout the day. But breakfast goodies for dinner kick some serious butt!

And Chaltab, on those odd occasions we get pizza these days, I like it one of two ways: either hot out of the oven or cold in the morning!

Well, what can I say, that was one hell of a marketing plan by DC, let's kill Superman, overpublicize it, and then get him back as if nothing has happened.

You don't even know half the story.

I was managing a comic store at that time, so you said a MOUTHFULL!!!

You *can* buy stuff on the internet, dude. Even if you don't have a credit perhaps a family member could help you out. Amazon and DeepDiscountDVD.com are two of my trusted favorites! (and always free shipping on the latter as well!)

During the "death of superman" saga, who was that red haired and bearded Lex Luthor? Wasn't him Lex 2?

If I remember correctly he was (comic logic disclaimer here.. ) a clone of Luthor that Luthor had placed his mind into to have a younger healthier body... or something like that. Its been a while since I read it though...

Speaking of, though I was less than impressed by the actual issues leading up to the 'death' of Superman, the 'Funeral for a Friend' issues that followed were truly moving.

A revised opinion of George Lucas

So before you go insult/bash Lucas again, remember.... He's offering you Diet Coke, and here's your choice: Do you accept the Diet Coke and thank him, or do you whine about the fact that it's diet?

Option 3: You say "No thank you George, but I'd prefer a regular Coke. A Coke Classic I think they call it. Its a good thing that I have the option of going over to the 7-11 and buying one. Would you like to come with me George? Would you? I'll even buy a case of 12 and share the Classic Coke with all my friends- they all appreciate that they have the ability to choose as well."

Yeah, they probably should have covered all bases just in case:

Order 65- Praise the Jedi and buy them flowers.

Order 66- Kill all the Jedi immediately.

Order 67- Find skin cream for Palpatine at all cost.

Order 68- Mongolian Beef, extra spicy.

Order 69- uh... huh huh, heh heh, huh huh.

The death star
Time
I agree with Simon here. The FIRST Death Star was an example of the Empire's hubris; we're big, we're bad, we can blow up planets... which is the Empire in a nutshell. But after seeing that they could be defeated by the small band of rebels, they should have learned. *Even* if the DSII had already been under construction they should have abandoned it for another idea.

But now that I think about it maybe it does make sense. The Emperor was definately full of himself and perhaps... just perhaps... not many people in or out of the Empire had even HEARD of the Death Star and probably had not heard of its destruction. It WAS supposed to be a super-secret weapon. Palpatine could have been trying to just ignore the destruction of the first one and use the second to not only wipe out the rebels and convert Skywalker but also then continue with the day-to-day threatening of worlds and all that other Empire building stuff. Palps did have a lot of moxie afterall!

YOUR (yr, yôr, yr; yr when unstressed)
adj. The possessive form of you.

1. Used as a modifier before a noun: your boots; your accomplishments.
2. A person's; one's: The light switch is on your right.
3. Informal. Used with little or no sense of possession to indicate a type familiar to the listener: your basic three-story frame house.

YOU'RE (yr; yr when unstressed)

Contraction of you are.

LOL... uh, sorry. Couldn't resist...

As far as I know there are no plans to have the two characters meet in films yet but it has been discussed by fans before. Batman and Superman worked together in several comics and had their own 'series' of sorts called 'World's Finest'.

As for their abilities, Supes has the power but very different code of ethics from Bats. And Batman is by all account a muc much smarter character than Superman. One-on-one fight with no enhancement and Superman would pulverize Batman... Bats has no superpowers. On the other hand, as shown in Dark Knight Returns, with some Kryptonite brass knuckles and a lot of pre-planning and Batman could exploit easily every little weakness that Supes has.

Should they fight? No. They are both heroes afterall.
