End of SE ROTJ...
Time
There is no logical explanation for Hayden in Jedi- it is just a scheme for the "prequelization" of the OT. The whole force ghost theory is a nonsense theory to explain what was truly a marketing scheme for people to see Episode III. When we did not get the explantion for Hayden in Sith, this leads now wondering of they added stuff on the DVD, which they didn't. Now that Lucas has finished "justifying" the prequels, he is returning to justify the SE.

But we are dealing George Lucas here- he breaks new ground by hitting new lows in DVD transfers and director's cuts. Who knows how much longer he will live- maybe another 20-30 years. And I'm certain that Jett Lucas will want to continue to support the SE above all costs. Lets just face it- the chances of SW wars getting released in a decent qaulity digital format are as rare as a virgin birth. DVD was meant for SW, but decades down the road this will be the most mutilated franchise and known as the only three movies to never get a decent DVD.

First, let me explain my synergy opinion. If our efforts at Lucasfilm failed, can we know if mainstream media should work? That's it, let's forget it.

Second, it really pisses me off that there would be a subsatandard DVD by a company once known for quality (like Memorex- they have DVD-r's that decay in 2 months) as a vendetta against a loyal fanbase and to destroy the originals de facto. It's like making an angus steak from a steer with mad cow disease! We have waited for this release for years, and now Lucas has done the unthinkable again, to make us not buy the DVD's. It seems laziness is now a garantee for any release of the Star Wars trilogy. Now I cynically hope criterion takes over.

BTW, does the Dr. Gonzo set still missing the Leia welding scene
