Finally picked Daredevil Season 2 back up. Of course, I was only an episode away from it getting better. Most of it ended up working in the end. I really just wanted to catch up for Luke Cage Friday.
Film IMAX was full 1.44:1 the entire sequence. I’m not sure how they cropped those shots, but they looked just fine.

Google killing Picasa is killing me. I’m trying to host all of my Visual Comparisons outside of my personal account, and I just don’t have the same functionality in Google Photos. I love Photos for my personal use, but it doesn’t work the way I need to share them to the public without it wanting the user to join the album or add the pictures to their personal account.
Is it possible the STARZ streaming version also has the scenes expanded?

And yeah, the outfit they went to for the FX should never have been allowed near a Trek movie. Can’t recall if ILM was swamped or Paramount didn’t want to pony up.
ILM was swamped with Last Crusade and Ghostbusters II.
The Phantom Menace also assumes you like to watch bad movies.
The question is, do you want to explain to your kids what trade disputes and senate meetings are about, or do you want the movie to actually be a good movie?

My argument would be that A New Hope actually explains the universe and the Force and Jedi, while Phantom Menace just assumes you’ve seen the originals.
Watched the first episode of “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD: Ghost Rider”. So far it looks like they’re not holding back on the Rider mythos. I’m sure eventually they’ll bail out and explain it away by it being aliens or something, but so far the devil lives inside a man whose head catches on fire and burns people’s souls.
Am I to take it that the text of the ROTJ Revisited crawl will remain unaltered?
