I watched Civil War again because my brother got it on DVD, and I must say, everytime I watch the film ilike it a bit more than the time before. I can safely call Zemo my favourite MCU villain after Loki.

Civil War might be the dumbest Marvel so far.

Are you sure?

I really don’t get the hate for Iron Man Three. I mean, I get some of it, like the various plot holes and weak villain motivations, but other stuff that gets brought up, like the Mandarin twist, Tony’s PTSD, and the fact that Iron Man is barely in it, I don’t.

What about that horrible twist do you not get the hate for?

It’s kind of clever?

Back to eyebrows: would you believe they actually acknowledge this on starwars.com on the episode page?!

“Although the final cut of Return Of The Jedi has an eyebrow-less unhelmeted Darth Vader, to better read in animation, the animation model has the dark brow visible through the cracked helmet.”!

I just watched the finale, and was so excited about the eyebrows that the first thing I did was open up this thread and search for it. Maybe these dumbass changes will slowly slip from the grip of canon.

The creators said the only reason they put the eyebrows back on was because the character model looked really dumb without them. It was only artistic and does not change the canon.

Have the remastered episodes entered syndication yet? That money has to factor into whether the whole endeavor keeps the accountants happy.

Unlike the TOS remaster, which was designed to make syndication buyers happier, the TNG remaster was designed to sell Blu-rays, which they didn’t. The major streaming services have TNGR, but I’m sure they paid they same they would have for SD TNG.

I know this is a long way off, but getting you a copy of Star Trek Generations would be worth it, if only to see the Death Star take down the Enterprise D. The saucer section then crashes on Endor, taking out untold numbers of Ewoks.

Surely I already suggested making my “Fire at Commander Will” line, right? Then cut to a beam hitting the drive section and it exploding. Don’t necessarily need the saucer crash…
