Before I say this, I just want to point out that I know it's impossible to do. I just want to see if this bugs anyone else as much as it bugs me.

Having said that, I'd very much like to see C-3PO's "stomach" wiring be made consistent throughout all 3 films. It's not such a dramatic change from ANH to ESB, but then in ROTJ it's suddenly gold and silver straight lines as opposed to actual wires. WTF? That's something that bothered me when I first saw the movies when I was 6. I could never understand why they'd make such a dramatic change. That was before I knew of several other changes that had been made throughout the trilogy, though, like Vader's suit and lightsaber hilt. It still doesn't make any of those changes make sense to me.

With all the drastic character redesigns in RotJ, we'd be better off just scrapping the whole thing, even if you don't really notice them. It took me a while to notice that Chewie was different, but I've never noticed 3P0. Of course, now I will. Which is the problem with looking at these movies too hard. Eventually the errant snowflakes/sand/twig is all you see...

Can you please do something with the distractingly large, unnatural (hey it's ALL unnatural I know!) 'orange glow' that occurs when a very small asteroid collides into the large 'crater' of the huge 'potato-shaped' asteroid, just after Han replies to C3PO, 'Never tell me the odds'.

Perhaps either put in some 'sparking debris' on it's impact, or get rid of the small asteroid, it's shadow, and subsequent 'orange glow' altogether! Either way would be preferable to what is there at the moment. Thanks.

Adywan - The 'glowing' asteroid thing that Monroville and others commented on recently was something I mentioned way back on page 31 of this thread.

While it's not a big deal, it's something bigger than some of the subtler things you've attended to previously, and seems an over-the-top effect for such a small asteroid impact into the bigger one.... Maybe you could consider even 'toning' the resulting explosion down a tad, or make the tiny asteroid a little bigger....

Just a last thought on that.

My vote is for the larger asteroid to EXPLODE in an expanded scene where we see two slugs looking sadly towards the incoming shockwave and the pieces of the asteroid narrowly avoid slamming against a passing TIE.

Or not.

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION

I finally got to have a full showing of ANHR. It was with my wife and the girl who introduced her to Star Wars, meaning that she indirectly was responsible for me meeting my wife! They liked it, there were a few "Wows" and a couple "Why didn't Lucas fix that before?"s.

My wife loves the Extended Alderaan Destuction Sequence, even though she likes Jar Jar. I don't get it.

Hmm, How did Future Claire kill future Peter? - Peter is as Immortal, like the highlander :) Unless something happened in the missing 4 years but they certainly didn't explain it, unless I missed something.

He's died several times onscreen and ALWAYS bounced back...

EDIT: Nevermind, I'd forgot the haitian was there!

Who's got a crackpot Mohinder theory? i'm betting he's either become Mohinder the lizard for real or something akin to Uluru :)

Funny that Sylar is finally normal when the rest of the world is so messed up.

Didn't Past Peter push past the Haitian on his way to running away from Future Claire? Even if that was the case, wouldn't Future Peter's wounds heal as soon as the Haitian got too far away?

And I used to like Future Peter. We'll one of them. The one from the first season, namely, when we got a glimpse of his full potentianal in his battle against Future Sylar/Nathan. Poor guy though, always having that scar... Wonder when he'll get it, because it looks pretty unavoidable.

EDIT: Of course, as soon as I "Reply with Quote" you change it and make me look like an idiot. My point of him still being able to heal still stands, as Claire died in the first season for a while until they took the stick out of her skull.

The Clone Wars (2008 animated tv series) - a general discussion thread
Time

I liked them both.

I thought the cave scene with Yoda and the Clones and the Plo Kloon episode where he does about the same thing goes out of its way to show that the Jedi really care about these Clones and aren't going to throw them around like battle droid pawns. Thinking that these same Clones will eventually turn on their Jedi just because they are ordered to hurts a little.

The prequels, besides explaining too much about where some things came from, also in parts didn't explain enough. We were forced to assume since Obi-Wan had cute names for a couple of the Clones that they were actually friends. Now with these episodes and the movie we see that they worked together and respected each other greatly. Also in the Plo Kloon episode, we got to see Palpatine personally contact Anakin after the Jedi left his office to give him some friendly advice, again something only casually mentioned in the movies.

I really think this series might actually do what is advertised and be an entertaining fill-in to the space between Episode II and III. Should we have needed it? No. Is it welcome? Yes.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Thread
Time

I don't feel like this is a prequel series because I'm not sure how they're going to end it. Are they going to have Judgment Day happen no matter what the Connors do (like Terminator 3) or are they going to prevent Judgment Day from happening? Yeah, we're sure John Connor's not going to die, but its his mission that intrests me. Can they stop the end of the world?

Nothing wrong....even if it isn't call to me....thanks everyone. :D

Adywan is a great editor, and if he could do models like he do the editorial job....than the Empire movie is in good hands.

But all men needs help...and the Star Wars is a collective experience. Or am i wrong?

Adywan seems to be a "do it yourself" kind of guy. He's not afraid to ask for help with things he cannot do very well (computer generated ships, for example), but he has so many talents that he tends to want to do it all. And I can't blame him, as the only way to really guarantee the level of quality that you want is to do it all yourself.

Darth Solo: Thanks...:)

There are lot of things what I usually do…art, sculpting, modeling. I really like the art, and because my grandfather is a sculptor and “artist”…you know, this is a family legacy. I have many things what I didn’t upload my page, because that is only a portfolio page. Once in a time if I have a will and free time, I upload. But because I am lazy, it is not happened every time, just once in a year. :D

If I can help, drawing concept or storyboards, or making models for Adywan….here am I.

I have some great idea about the death of Veers, so if it help, I can draw some storyboards…or concept illustration. Just call me. :)

I think Solo was talking about Adywan.

Excellent clip. Great colors everywhere. Is it weird that I already miss the changes you previewed for the probe droid sequence? Are you going to have to start from scratch with that sequence now that you've done color correction, or just re-color correct what you already had?

I'll be starting from scratch for most of it but having the saved project files for the work already done makes life a bit easier, plus i also need to build the new model of the Generator.

Physically build a new model? Cause that would be awesome.

I'm just full of questions!

I threw together my mock up. I forgot to look for any good landing ship shots, so I just used what I could find on Wookieepedia, which was an Acclamator Star Destroyer from Episode II. It's not pretty, but it gets the idea across.

It could stand to be even further off the screen, or smaller. I think this shot could do with some sense of motion, because it is completely still (which may be good for the dread factor and to balance it out with the Rebels scrambling in the shots previous and following). But I think some subtle motion wouldn't hurt.

EDIT: Another version:

I know we've talked about adding the landing ships and it was rejected, but I want to re-add my suggestion that we just see one lifting off as we first see the cloud that the walkers emerge from. The cloud could be the snow disturbed by the landing and taking off of the ship. You could even just have the tail end of it flying off the top of frame. It would be easy (relatively) to do, and would explain all the smoke. I'll mock something up sometime.

If he had his rockets in working order, he wouldn't have fallen into the water in the first place.

But let's not only point out the negatives of havoline's post. I believe that burn marks are on the agenda, and a complete rotoscope of every lightsaber and blaster bolt will take care of Vader's saber color loss, as completely insane as both of those challenges might be. But the insanity of going frame by frame and trying to add two-dimensional burn marks to a three-dimensional object filmed almost 30 years ago will be well worth it to add a bit of a shine to a nearly perfect movie.
