I had to explain it when I showed a friend some comparison shots from the board. I didn't even think about it.

Vader drinks Sithweiser's!
This may have been answered but is Bobba voice staying the same as it originally did or is it staying the same as the 04 version?
I thought he would drink a pint of John Sith's.
He has been known to down a Guinness from time to time.
Sluggo wins. Game over.
Bingowings said:Another suggestion that seems to have slipped off the wish list is the AT-AT in the ground battle idea, I'd love to see some Ewok traps for that monster.
Forest Moon of Endor:
16. Add AT-AT to ground battle.
It's still there! ;-)

I like that idea.

F.A.B.
Nice one, Mr. Tracy. :)
I kinda like that suggestion of having the Emperor laugh as he falls to his death. He's such a loony, it seems appropriate. The idea of Piett turning is neat, too. Definitely a radical change, but probably no more radical than some of the things Ady has planned for the PT.
I have no idea what you guys are talking about. :-P
"And you never shall! Ha ha haaaaa..."
My Googlefu did bring up Thunderbirds, but I still don't understand... But its not important, way off topic.
Anything else on the Wishlist I forgot or need to rephrase?
Jedi Dark Knight said:I was checking the uploaded bits found in the first page, and maybe this has been mentioned before but it appears the wampa scene has been deleted altogether. Now I don't care much about the furball but the important revelation of Luke "relaxing into the force" to force-pull the lightsaber to show how intuitively he is learning to use the Force is lost, and also more important than anything is the "Luke, you must go to the Dagobah system"....without this order you never know why would Luke go separate ways than the rest of the alliance...it creates a plot-hole
That particular clip was a selection of changed shots, not a full segment. No worries. He's just cutting the Special Edition Wampa parts.

I added Monroville's suggestions to the master list. We're getting a lot of good ideas, but nothing excites me more than the possiblity of the Redemption of Piett. Something about every Imperial not being 100% evil, especially the one in charge of the biggest ship ever.
Jedi Dark Knight said:adywan said:damn, i don't want to even think about the DVD structure yet. I'm only half way through the film. lol
hahahaha yeah, it must be a pain to think about things so far ahead. You mention that you are halfway throught the film does that mean that the Rebel Escape from Hoth will receive any updates? as of now there are shots where it seems there's only one SD around the planet and supposedly the entire fleet was around Hoth....hence Luke escapes so easily, when he leaves you don't see any ships there!
You have been gone a while. Check out ION CANNON from the front page. And be sure to check out the new screenshots up there.
Gaffer Tape said:Yes, it does. And that's one of my main annoyances with these and every other Star Wars DVD that's ever been made. It's especially a problem because the subtitles appear in the matte instead of the actual film. The matte doesn't exist in context of the film. It's simply there to take up space! Therefore, information pertinent to the film shouldn't be in something that's essentially a black hole. But it's there because Lucasfilm is filled with incompetent bastards. I have noticed that the prequel DVDs play with the subtitles in the frame proper when I play it on my widescreen computer, but it's still that shitty, jagged DVD-produced font that's just playing over the film rather than in it. Geez, Lucasfilm is so stupid.
Guess it makes it easier to do foreign versions. I also like the option to not have the words on the screen at all.

I've fixed Vader's helmet wobble on the vane. It was a real pain to do and a few sleepless nights.
Wow. I didn't think it was necessary or even possible, but I'm sure the others will appreciate it. You certainly are some kind of miracle worker!
mrbenja0618 said:Wow, I must have missed a post or two... Ady's shooting new Vader footage?
That's the plan, so far. We are like 5 or 6 years away from even thinking about RotS:R.
HotRod said:Sevb32 said:Yes that's perfect! Thanks! Is there a way you could get several hi res stills of the SE Cloud City fly thru until it lands, I don't need the close up where it lands, but at least 3 or 4 shots of it on it's way to landing. Especially when in just passes that largest/highest building.
Just noticed another window in the dining room scene to the right of Vader's head! Seen below

Did Ady mention if he was going to give any eye, nose or mouth articulation to Bossk or the Ugnaughts as he did in the ANH Cantina? Especially Bossk since he gets a good close up.
Dude, have you screen capped every part of the film??
That's um, pretty awesome.
BarBar Jinkx said:adywan said:again interesting but this would be an unnecessary addition
May I suggest using that as the backround for the chapter selection page on the DVD!
its to damn good to go to waste ADY
I agree, I think some of Vaderios' mockups should be menus on the DVD. This one, the shot of Veers standing alone, just subtle movements added or something. It'd be awesome.
It's been a few days. I've been reading, but since I can't yet comment from my iPod I've been silent. The most recent thing seems to be the Falcon flying up and out when the finally go to lightspeed. I've always liked this. I think its like they program the computer where they want to go, and it automatically points them in the right direction instead of just going really fast straight forward. It also helps explain why everyone falls over and R2 rolls back into the hole when no one really seems to notice when they just go to lightspeed when they're already pointing in the right direction.
Just my thoughts.
I was thinking about creating an OriginalTrilogy.com "Page" on Facebook for people on Facebook to "fan", but I didn't want to do it without Jay's blessing. Is this even a good idea, since it might provide real faces for the government to crack down on?

Nice! I tried to isolate Veers in light, as if there was a spotlight shining only on him, but I don't think it came across just right.
Here's my mockup. I just darkened most everything and (lazily) cropped out the guards.
I tried my hand at colorizing the picture (my first time really trying). Should be better for mockups.
I'm going to try a mockup soon.
vaderios said:Heh, imagein this pic in a more darker enviroment without the guards there to brake the loneness...
Very nice pic!

Do it!!!!!
Bingowings said:I just happened across this image on the great meditation chamber debate, it might be fiddleaboutable, It's Veers waiting to see Vader (must be a deleted scene) :
Awesome. Absolutely awesome.
Sluggo said:Are you saying it was a deliberate creative decision?
I have no idea. I'm just saying that it occured to me that they had to have gone out of their way to turn on those fans when they were shooting closeups of Vader's face. Maybe they were hoping the cape would be seen in the background of the shot, but having that fan on and trying to hear Prowse through the helmet had to have been hard. They might have done it for secrecy, as no one could really listen in on the "Obi-wan is your father" line being delievered.
This thread is pretty cool.
I've been wanting the watch the Lord of the Rings movies again as I started a D&D campaign and doing that makes me want to watch the movies. I'd love to just sit and watch all the Extended Editions in a row, but I don't have that kind of time anymore. I did in college, however, and I jumped all over the Lord of the Rings Marathon they had in theaters before RotK came out. Did anyone else go to one of these?
They actually printed the Extended Editions to film for this, and showed the first two movies in their extended form (with breaks inbetween them), and then after another break they showed RotK a couple hours before the midnight release. It was so much fun, though we didn't have the best seats and all of my friends and I got cricks in our necks from staring at an angle for 14 hours!

2) when Vader is talking to Luke on the platform (after cutting Luke's hand off) you can see the shell of Vader's helmet moving in the wind.
Yeh, this has been mentioned. I'm not sure if i'll be doing anything with that because we do see that the hood part of the helmet is separate and it does help show just how windy it is up there.
This was Ady's response as I had mentioned the helmet thing a while back.
And besides, isn't Vader's cape blowing in the wind enough to show that its windy?
I just thought of something. So they blew the fan on Mark so it would look windy. Makes sense. Why blow the fan on closeups of Vader's helmet, unless they WANTED it to blow around. Huh?
