Here's something you may want to include in your edit, Ady, especially when Rogue 2 finds Han and Luke:

A Tauntaun sleeping bag!

Dig that intestinal lining! :p

I know its a gag, but I want one.

I'm all for cutting Ben's conversation out entirely.  I do, however, think Luke needs to be on Dagobah before he's on Tatooine - we need to feel like he's been training there for a long period of time since "Empire" ended.  As it is, it feels like he got a couple weeks of training, left like an idiot, then decided he was a Jedi before even seeing Yoda again.  It just doesn't feel like he's had enough time to become a Jedi.

And I don't have a problem with introducing Jabba on the Lapti Nek (which SHOULD be replaced with something!)/Boussh sequence.  It works well as an introduction in my opinion, and sets a much more sinister tone for the film and for Jabba's lair.

It's odd that Han's line "I'm out of it for a little while and everyone gets delusions of granduer" is actually more true than it plays in the scene.  It does seem that Luke is a bit crazy, going in there unarmed with only one extended session of training...

It was mentioned before about how the Ewoks could be made to be more menacing, so I made a quick little video of the "Dead Animal On A Stick" scene, with a StormTrooper helmet inserted. I know it's crude, but I only did it to see how it would look.

Don't hold back...be critical, and abusive...I can take it..... ;)

I'll agree that it is crude.  That's some big headed stormtrooper ;-)

The music is too whimsical for the gruesome scene and would need to be changed.  Also, the Dead Animal would have to be erased from inside the net.

But it just might work, honestly.

We've had most of the Dagobah discussion already.  And if you check out the YODA TWEAKED video on the first page, you'll see that Ady has already begun work on tweaking Yoda a bit.  Very cool stuff.

Hey, thanks doubleofive, I checked the video, and I hardly noticed anything new (that could be good I guess), it looks good though....but I might be getting my impression solely on the color correction improvement. Thanks for the post

You've got to watch Yoda's mouth.  He actually forms his words instead of just flapping his mouth around.  Notice the W's, especially in "This one, a long time have I watched."

I've noticed much interest has gone to either Cloud City of Hoth. No Dagobah suggestions....is it perfect as it is? I can only remember vague things....breathing life into Yoda would be nice, CG maybe? [please don't fire your turbolasers at me!]

Okay folks,

I'm going to create a list ala the ESB:R list I have regarding the Prequel ideas.  I will separate them by movie and scene (just like the ESB:R list) so as to better keep track of ideas and suggestions.

Good luck with that.  I can't imagine how you'll organize it.  Keep your eyes open on the front page of ESBR, as Ady is replacing his change list with one I made to match my ROTJR list.

The problem with that is everyone's reaction to it.  Chewie and Han don't think anything of a dead animal on a stick, but Luke senses a trap.  A stormtrooper helmet on a stick with the head still inside it?  Definate trap, and might even freak Han out a bit.  Changing Han's line from "It's just a dead animal" to "It's just a stormtrooper head" is either extremely hilarious or extremely badass.

As promised a rough design that proves it can be done

it took me quite a while to master the software before using it :)

Not bad, not bad at all.  I see potentional.  But for continuity's sake, Ady'd have to add it to ANHR too, and that's not happening...

Vaderios, great 3-D model, I'm sure you can work with it to make perfection.

Darth Piccolo, like most of Vaderios' work, the dynamic lightsaber lighting is great, but practically impossible to do frame by frame.  Sucks, I know.

The 3d model was a rough to show how the blueprints are in 3d space. I can work over them in Photoshop.

The interactive saber lighting is possible with the video tutorial i posted.

Nice Idea there Bingo, as always ;)

I saw the video tutorial in the ESB/ROTJ thread, but it didn't find its way here.  It could be done though!

This might sound a bit daft but bear with me for a moment.

Perhaps one way around the shifting, door/window problem would be to have the upper suites rotatable (the suites may be designed to entertain rich buyers who visit the city and they might like to have a room they can move around to catch different views.

The two interior doors could then line up (according to where they turn) with two completely different exterior doors (much like a fit with a door at both ends, someone pushing the door button on one side would automatically rotate the room in a gentle fashion so it lined up with the door on the inside).

We could see the top of the building begin to rotate and a shutter come down and then Han comes in from one door (setting up the rotating possibility of the room) and when Chewie and Lando come in it wouldn't matter if the doors were not right because the room has rotated without the audience seeing it because the shutter is down.

Some of the design suggestions above could fit into this idea as the look small enough to be rotatable modules.

It also would explain the changing lighting.  Wow.  I'm impressed!
