Now that looks a list of someone who actually watched the movies and not someone who just follows the sheep and says "all the even movies and then all the odds" with TFF being the worst, cause it fucking wasnt even close
....and you summed up 4 perfectly, IT WASNT GREAT so people need to get off the notion that it was

I don't believe anyone said it was great.  It was fun, which is more than can be said about TFF, at least in my opinion, which is the point I guess.  These are all opinions.  Just because a majority of people think Star Trek V sucks doesn't mean that you have to think that.  I acutally think its cool that you're giving TFF more than a fair shake.  TFF was actually the first movie I can remember seeing in theaters (I was FIVE), so I guess it will always hold a place in my life (McCoy having to relive letting his dad die will do that to a kid).  But I don't have to enjoy it more than TVH.

Hey, Ady, I doubt you even remember me, and I wouldn't blame you. I havent been logged on in a long time. The last time was back before ANH:R came out, and I didnt make a huge contribution to that project. I gave my oppinion here and there when and if I could, and I wanted to say that I think your final product turned out phenominal. Congrats to you and everyone else involved!

P.S. I found my username in the credits, and I gotta say that was a bit weird seeing that in a fanedit. I love this forum and to be engrained in one of its biggest project means alot to me. Thanks for throwing that in there even though I feel like I did nothing to contribute to the project.

And now you're in the credits for ESB:R!  Funny how that works.  I look at it more as a "contributions/encouragement" list.  I considered separating the two, but that would have made the compilation of the list 1000x harder.

in ROTJ can the FB be upped in epicness like this?

I don't know how to tell you this, but repeating and flipping shots from random points in the battle and cutting it down to less than 2 minutes does not make it epic.  It makes it whatever the opposite of epic is.

The battle part of the Final Battle is nearly perfect.  That's the difference between the OT and the PT.  The PT is mostly jumping, grunting and hitting each other with sticks.  The OT is a dance with people trying to kill each other.

Ady, how do you know those other people didn't get your Falcon?  They could have just gotten a $200 model for $6 for all you know!

well i'd say it was highly doubtful. the thing is on the invoice it had June 1st as shipment date so they probably don't even know its been lost. you should have seen the state of its packaging. there is no way it had accidentally  got that way. It looked more like it was deliberately opened. After seeing so many news reports of packages going missing and that postal workers were stealing packages all the time or just dumping mail i'm not surprised anymore when something like this happens. now here's the latest. a postal representative rang me a few minutes ago about my compensation claim. he mentioned that i had gone in and claimed the model so they will be closing the claim now. Well i told him that he would have to prove that i accepted it. i asked him if i had would i have had to sign for it and he told me yes. well i then told him that i did not accept it because it wasn't my model and that i signed for nothing and that the package was reposted to the correct person with a note explaining how they were willing to hand over their item to someone else because they refused to resend it  and if they want to make a claim against the post office i would be willing to testify against the PO. he then said that they would have CCTC footage of me picking up the item and tried to make out that this would eb evidence enough to protect them. Well that's bullshit. i wasn't stupid anyway. i took the model out of the package, kept the model and the invoice and handed back the ripped package . the model was small enough to fit in my inside pocket out of view of the camera, so to them it looks like i handed the package back and walked out. i didn't sign anything. so screw you PO. lol. needless to say he wasn't too happy on the phone.

Just goes to show that England needs more CCTCs to catch other angles!  LOL

You're sneaky and quick thinking.  I would have paniced long ago.

I thought the same thing, but the chances of that happening are astronomical.  I was hoping that it was going to be Ady's so he could build two, one to BLOW up next movie. ;-)

I HATE CONTINUITY ERRORS!

I'd love to find an old post of yours that says 'I love continuity errors!' but I probably wouldn't find it, right?

If I said it, you would have to take it out of context to do it. :-P

But I think that most movie reviews on posters and trailers do that, so I couldn't be too hard on you.

ALIEN: REVISITED movie edit (* unfinished project *)
Time

show LV-426 system entrance similar to RETURN OF THE JEDI when rebel fleet jumps to Endor - stars would slow and stop to indicate N+R slowing to sub-light, and the planet+moons in background will grow slowly in size to indicate movement,

But they don't have hyperspeed, that's the point of the sleeping pods.  Or at least, that's my understanding.

And I would change "Revisited" to something else, to avoid confusion.

Bare in mind that this is still just a test shot and Adywan may decide to take another route with this, but here's what I've come up with to show a sample of what might be possible in helping with this scene http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wseA4UHgS8Y

The AT-AT model is one I downloaded from Sci-Fi:3D just to help add a focal point to this shot, the scale of the walkers is probably out, but you get the idea, also it isn't walking, they're having a rest after a busy day of shooting rebels !

Awesome!  Yes!  You can do this in 720p, right?

Not a bad idea, but I'm not sure how Ady would feel about it.  It's kind of revising the originals to fit in with the prequels, which he frowns upon, but I don't think it would be a terrible change.  Most people wouldn't notice, and unless Ady can replace Qui-Gon with Yoda, it helps out the prequels.

Here's an old anim I did in Vue 6 of a snowscape, it's not as fast as the ones in TESB, but something like this with better lighting and mountains might be possible !?

You did that?  That's pretty awesome!

I can't remember where I read it, but I felt better about V after reading an article about how only the vaction scenes should be taken as real, with the rest of the film being Kirk's nightmare.  His friends lie to him, betray him, he loses his ship, he finds that God is inside all of us, and everyone is reunited.  No one speaks of it again.

you need long enough footage of fast moving ground for this to be able to work.

One word: conveyor belt.

I can't imagine what Ady's workspace looks like already, but I can imagine his wife just rolls her eyes at it.  Can you imagine if he bought a conveyor belt?!  LOL

The Snivvian in the cantina (in the scene where the troopers walk past Han and Chewie) has had his face animated, but it doesn't look right (in contrast with all the other cantina aliens, which look absolutely excellent) maybe he should have been left unanimated. He has what I can only describe as 'melty face syndrome'

Are you kidding?  That's the best part, the part that made my friends that I've shown laugh out loud at how awesome it is!

I was going to mention the "siesmic charges" if only to avoid all appearances to it.  Just a bit of rumble in the subwoofer is all I need. ;-)

now this is something that i did think long and hard about and i think they got it right just as it is. I don't see the bombs as being destructive at all. Why, if they want to capture the falcon, would they use destructive weapons that would possibly cause all sorts of internal damage to the inside of the asteroid and possibly destroy the falcon in the process. I believe that they are just very low yield bombs, maybe just flash bombs,  that are only meant to draw the falcon out. more of an audible attack.

I was thinking maybe add some LFE to the explosions?  Something to make them more menacing.  That might help, unless you want to convey the distance the shots are in space by keeping it quiet.
