Sounds good DuTwan! Hopefully the lips and timing would match. Wish we could get BRIAN BLESSED to redo the voice. ;-)

Another problem with moving Yoda/Obi-wan before/during Tattooine: Luke's glove covering the damage he hasn't had done to him yet, and we can't really cover that up, I don't think...
I'll never forget the day I walked into my old local used CD store and there they had Meco Star Wars on CD, mint condition. My dad used to use the main theme to do his magic shows, but one day the LP melted after an outdoor show. I'm not sure if I was alive back then (doubt it), but its a part of my family history, I guess.
I love it.

On the other thread rcb linked to a rumor that a young Luke is going to appear on the show. Having seen a young Anakin and a young "Boba", I dread a young Luke. It'd be very unlikely to be anything but more crapping on Star Wars.
Please, no-enough with the young versions!
At least we never saw that awful young Han in Ep III.
Yeah, young Han solo was supposed to somehow help Yoda if I remember well...
Can you imagine that? It goes against everything Han Solo is as a character in ANH.
I am not Bashing Lucas all the time but the fact that this plot was taken seriously at some point is scary.
1. Just go to a page and change the address in the bar to the page you want.
2. http://doubleofive.wordpress.com/rotj-fanedit-wishlist/
I'm lost. I wish we had a character that could point out the NOT obvious.

Well here's that 'Luke training on Dagobah' idea we were talking about the other day...

This is how it would fit in with the fan-o-matic edit. Needs some more tweaking...ideas? Is this scene too early to show Lukes new saber?

Is the predominance of 'bounty hunter' as a term because 'terrorist' 'soldier' or 'assassin' are too scary? I honestly don't know.
For me the "offspring of Anakin Skywalker" line comes down to it being way too descriptive, as if (a) Vader doesn't know who Luke is and (b) Vader doesn't know who he was/is (even worse in the rest of the 04SE). They both play way too dumb through the whole thing and it doesn't come off as a brave deception on either part, it just seems dumb to me. And its almost like they pause the movie for this revelation we've had since the opening crawl. Why does the Emperor call him in the middle of an asteroid field to tell him that the person he's been hunting for 3 years is dangerous and probably shouldn't become a Jedi?
No matter, it needs to be reverted back to as close to the original dialog as possible, which Ady is doing/has done. No more deception/Ric Olie worthy dialog ("Luke blew up the Death Star and you've been looking for him!") than originally there.
"Hey Adywan, what do you think of this idea?"
*SILENCE*
"Hey Ady, you going to do that?"
*SILENCE*
"That pit looks like its underwater."
*RANDOM PICTURE*
Great work Fredstar! I had a similar idea, but never did anything with it.
Pasting from Microsoft Word breaks this board for those using Microsoft Internet Explorer. Does that not make sense to anyone else? ;-)
My question is who actually recorded the titular line? Same with "Alert my Star Destroyer to prepare for my arrival" (deleted dialog from ANH my butt).

Speaking of mattes, Ganamae, have you seen evidence of new mattes in your workprint copy? "Yes or no will do." ;)
Lets just say that things have been noticed :D
I and some friends spent 5 hours commenting and talking about the 50 first minutes of the Empire work print yesterday, the rest we will do today...
I have to slave over a hot stove even...they demanded dinner and I demand results and comments back, so Adywan can become a happy man ^_^
so 5 more hours of Star warsing today :D
Photoshop CS3 for me, with some CS1 if I'm at home.

Added, though maybe the middle light is some kind of warning light that there's a catastrophic overload, it just never lit up before. And maybe that stormtrooper meant to shoot straight through his buddy's head to miss that ewok next to him. And maybe Han dropped two guns so he would always be right no matter which one he picked up.
No i meant that the laser goes front of the ewok's ear that is front of the stormie. And han's gun, id like to have it only him. more iconic rather a copy paste prop.

Anyways 005 add those to your list.

Add as plus the fact that most of the blasters are shooting the wrong direction.

I knew I should have done what you did there. Call me lazy. Still the question remains: what the heck are they peering down at?!

Did you notice that in PT to release someone of his chains its simply requires a touch of lightsaber. In ROTJ luke tries too long to release Han and Chewie. Can be done something there?
-Angel
You've seen the size of Luke's lightsaber, he would have burned their arms off getting it that close to them!
But seriously, maybe Luke wasn't as confident (or careless) with his lightsaber and was afraid of cutting them by mistake. I know I would be. Seems too casual in the PT, maybe it was supposed to be.
Not with Firefox 3.5.3. Still perfect. ;-)

So, viewing this, maybe this would be a better, nobler death for Fett, if indeed he should die. I think he should be thrown in, and then as they all leave, he crawls out of the Sarlacc.
Love the illustrations, but how would we accomplish this in live action using existing elements?

So let me get this right...Once the Rebels evacuate Hoth...They leave this bad boy behind? No wonder they're always scrounging for ships etc....What a waste!!!
Good thinking. But you just know there's probably some EU story out there that mentions them going back. :p If not, maybe some lurker here will add it to a story someday. "Star Wars: Ion Cannon Retrieval"
I thought there was a story about the Rebels who stayed behind to blow it up, but apparently I was wrong. It's featured in Dark Forces IV: Jedi Knight III: Jedi Outcast II: Jedi Academy as being fully functional 10 years later. I was right about Rebels staying behind (from Alderaan even), but they just stayed behind to man it until the last minute.
Here's the shot where it looks like a couple guys are trying to look out a window in the rebel control room:
Watch it in motion, the guy with the arrow is defiantly not looking at the glass, but leaning forward to look through it and down. The problem with putting a window there is the lighting, unless the window just happens to be in shadow in the outside shot.

Here is a cut out of the cannon and fire control....it's not cannon but it can give us some pointers. :)
This made me LOL when I read it over the weekend.

I am not where it's located but early on I asked here on the forum if the ION cannon should shoot blue and Adywan replied that he was not a fan of EU...but hey what do ya know....some time later it shoot blue :P
So everything can happen :)
was it colored blue because of the Rogue Squadron games?
