"The Beginning" was the best part of any prequel DVD, I agree.  I was really disappointed that the other two films didn't continue in that fashion.  AotC had "From Puppets to Pixels" and "Films Aren't Released; They Escape", and RotS had "Within a Minute".  They were alright, but "The Beginning" was so all-encompassing, like "Empire of Dreams" without the ability to reflect on it.

The different editors confuse me, but aren't you supposed to do this (from the help page):

url=http://fanedits.com/]FanEdits.com[/url] — <a href="http://fanedits.com/" target="_blank" title="fanedits.com/">FanEdits.com</a>

actually you start with [url=.... but when I typed that, it showed up as a link like it is supposed to LOL.

This is a plain "Reply with Quote" using the plain text editor. It brings it back down the html instead of the [ url=

Alright, this is related, so I'll throw it here. I've been trying to use the plain text editor all the time, but it doesn't seem to work properly. If I type the following in the plain text editor (which I'm using now), it shows up like this:

Sounds good DuTwan! Hopefully the lips and timing would match. Wish we could get <a href="http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Ptitleijqobqvle9an?from=Main.BRIANBLESSED">BRIAN BLESSED</a> to redo the voice. ;-)

On the other thread rcb linked to a rumor that a young Luke is going to appear on the show. Having seen a young Anakin and a young "Boba", I dread a young Luke. It'd be very unlikely to be anything but more crapping on Star Wars.

Please, no-enough with the young versions!

At least we never saw that awful young Han in Ep III.

Yeah, young Han solo was supposed to somehow help Yoda if I remember well...

Can you imagine that? It goes against everything Han Solo is as a character in ANH.

I am not Bashing Lucas all the time but the fact that this plot was taken seriously at some point is scary.

I heard that rumor and said immediately that if Han was in Episode III, I would walk out of the theater, sell or throw away my Episode I and II DVDs and deny the existence of the prequels. And that was before finding this site and finding out that people actually DO deny their existence!

Well here's that 'Luke training on Dagobah' idea we were talking about the other day...

This is how it would fit in with the fan-o-matic edit. Needs some more tweaking...ideas? Is this scene too early to show Lukes new saber?

You know what? That's pretty neat! I think it might work for some editor, definitely for the Fan-O-Matic. Nice reuse of the turn, he even looks concerned for the coughing (which I found both clever and hilarious). Great job man!

STAR WARS: EP V &quot;REVISITED EDITION&quot;<strong>ADYWAN</strong> - <strong>12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW</strong>
Time

For me the "offspring of Anakin Skywalker" line comes down to it being way too descriptive, as if (a) Vader doesn't know who Luke is and (b) Vader doesn't know who he was/is (even worse in the rest of the 04SE). They both play way too dumb through the whole thing and it doesn't come off as a brave deception on either part, it just seems dumb to me. And its almost like they pause the movie for this revelation we've had since the opening crawl. Why does the Emperor call him in the middle of an asteroid field to tell him that the person he's been hunting for 3 years is dangerous and probably shouldn't become a Jedi?

No matter, it needs to be reverted back to as close to the original dialog as possible, which Ady is doing/has done. No more deception/Ric Olie worthy dialog ("Luke blew up the Death Star and you've been looking for him!") than originally there.
