Q: I’m a little unclear about the BD – version: Will we have one BD-25 image for the movie itself and extras/making-of on the other BD-25 /DVD or all in one BD-25? I would prefer former way so you could maximize the picture and sound quality of the movie itself. Of course if the making of is mostly still pictures or SD video quality then it would probably not take that much space on the BD-25…

The plan is for it all to be on one BD-25. I believe the movie itself isn’t that big / there won’t be that many bonus features that one would affect the other.

Added! Let me know which character of mine you’re able to use in battle (I assume it will be Wedge or Biggs but not exactly sure how that works). At any rate, given that you’ve just started, I’m assuming a Level 80 7* G8 or G9 character can auto anything you’re facing on it’s own.

Yeah, it offered me Wedge and it took all of 3 seconds to do all three rounds. I’m not sure how often I can use him, but I’m going to save him for harder things.

The PT should have been made to match the OT and the OT shouldn’t be altered to match that crap. That crap should be altered to match the OT.

Not only the PT but the Disney too.

You know what? Referring to the new movies as “Disney’s Star Wars” is like calling the new Mummy movie as “Comcast’s The Mummy.” Lucasfilm is owned by Disney in the same way that Universal is owned by Comcast.

I for one will now only refer to “Comcast’s The Mummy” as “Comcast’s The Mummy”.

But the shield doesn’t protect the whole planet.

The reason they have to lower the shield for Tydirium is for that section on the ground. The entire Endor part of the movie takes place in this how-many-ever square mile area…

Actually I always thought the shield is emanated from that enormous dish, several miles from the landing platform.
Star Wars complete locations book says the same.
The Dish it is visibly aimed at the Death Star.
The shield emanating from the dish does not cover any part of the ground.
So I see no reason to deactivate it, or fly even close to that. The landing platform is several miles from the dish.
On that holoprojection, the shield should look needle thin near the surface.
Also the book says, “the above ground shield projector plus the undergound power generator and the shield projector complex is about 43 miles in diameter”. And according to that map the distance between the Dish and the landing platform is ca. 4 miles.

edit:
here is the shield projector (page 140)

If they don’t have to lower the shield for Tydirium to land, why do they have to lower the shield for Tydirium to land? I mean, if Ady cuts that whole bit and has Han & Co just sneak onto Endor without a code clearance, then that makes sense. But currently they definitely need the shield to be down to land near the generator.
