I just donated $100. Best of luck.

We all thank you for that! Wow!

I didn’t read through all 14 pages so some of these ideas on my wishlist may have been already been suggested.

*The shield generator is on the Endor Moon, so maybe on wide space shots add the planet Endor behind the moon.

I’m big on this one. Like how you can see Yavin when the ships are leaving Yavin IV.

*If you are adding female rebel pilots, consider re-voicing a stormtrooper, or better yet a biker scout, with a woman’s voice. I wanted to suggest that for ESB:R but it was too late.

I like the idea of this, but there’s only a handful of lines…

*Would also love to see a shield aperture similar to Scarif on the Endor Moon.

But the shield doesn’t protect the whole planet.

The reason they have to lower the shield for Tydirium is for that section on the ground. The entire Endor part of the movie takes place in this how-many-ever square mile area…

*A shot with Tie-Strikers patrolling Endor.

…which also limits the air stuff that can take place. The area is big enough for speeder bikes to not really worry about where they’re going, so maybe we could have some Strikers? I think Vader’s shuttle when he goes to pick up Luke doesn’t need an escort because it’s inside the shield the whole time.

*When you re-do the rebel hanger, a snowspeeder tucked away in a corner half covered with a tarp would be a nice tie in to ESB. Colonial Viper would be a cool Easter egg.

LOL, that’d be great. They do make Vipers in the right scale… 😉

*Shots of rebel gunners in the Millennium Falcon.

Could be cool.

*See different angles of the Death Star

Another thing I want.

*fix noticeable back seam on Ewok’s costume

Which one? https://starwarsscreencaps.com/star-wars-episode-vi-return-of-the-jedi-1983/

On a side note, I have tried to find the forum for the original Star Wars: Revisited with no luck. If it is still available, could someone PM me the link? Thanks.

I love how it’s literally two threads down. 😉

Easy to fix: when Lando goes into hyper-space, just add a “oups!” (tracked from little Ani).

or as I recommended on Page 2:
“Maybe it would be wise to switch the two jump segments, that the Calamari Cruser with the Admiral jumps first.
That would clearly work as a ‘MARK’ by the Admiral I guess.”

The capital ships going first makes sense if they’re slower, so they arrive at the same time…

ROUND 4 - now 22 movies!!! The Ritty's Star Wars Saga (Released)

The vauge comments are probably due to the fact that we have no idea beyond short snippets of what you’ve done with these. I don’t think many are going to be willing to invest 20 hours into something we have no clue about…though I suppose some people did stick around for he entire extended Hobbit series…:p

Yeah, a general cut list and list of sources would be cool.

Why would a Vader/Fett little chat be of any use ? I mean, does Fett try to keep Luke alive at any point in the movie ? The idea sounds cool but nothing in the actual movie would be consistent with it.

He wraps him up with his arm cord thingy rather than just shoot him at one point on the skiff battle.

Then he stands up and starts shooting at him, prompting Chewie to warn Han about him.

Another 2011 change, what about the new insert shot of Han hitting Boba Fett’s jetpack, which has gone completely unexplained?

Someone here also made a good case for a lot of the 2011 changes seeming so random because newly added foreground elements are things that could easily be made to pop in the planned 3D releases. New ESB sparks, the dug thing, a crazy ass door, R2’s rocks, maybe Han’s thawing effect?

I know, I’m pretty great.

I would certainly prefer if the dug thing was absent from the steps, though. Any word on that one?

I didn’t even bring the Dug up because it doesn’t make any sense in a shot that’s supposed to show that EVERYONE is asleep.

Another thing, I wonder if Ady can get rid of the audio of Greedo from ANH from Jabba’s Throne Room.

I wonder when Ady can come in and say that he’s certainly not adding MORE Boba Fett to the movie.

I’ve been looking forward to people listing the little things that ate at them for years. Like a moving blaster hole or scuff mark, or like someone just pointed out, the fact that Luke’s lightsaber expands in size randomly.

What about the Blu-ray changes? Ady kept the sparks in the Cloud City junk room. Will he keep the new unthawing animation? What about R2’s extra gizmos that pop out when he’s shot? WHAT ABOUT JABBA’S PALACE DOOR THAT’S NOW 3 TIMES BIGGER ON THE OUTSIDE THAN THE INSIDE?

TIE Strikers are atmospheric fighters, which might be neat for the ground battle. However, I don’t see when in the battle they could fit. The shield had to be lowered for Tydirium to land, so I’ve always imagined that there’s a shield over at least part of the surface too. Like the cone that goes up and around the DS2 is still a few miles wide on the surface to protect the shield generator from bombing runs. So any kind of aerial battle would have to happen after the shield goes down, which doesn’t leave much opportunity for air strikes.

As for those mourning the PTR, I firmly believe that Adywan was not your last hope. There are plenty of talented people on this forum and others who have been reworking the prequels for years.

Well, they are mainly atmospheric fighters but as Wiki says:

Though designed for atmosphere, it could also function in space and accompany traditional TIE fighters. Equipped with advanced high-speed wings, it was faster than the standard TIE fighter and had two extra pairs of laser barrels.
The starfighter was also useful for shifting supplies and personnel from orbit to the planet surface, thanks to a larger central pod.

They can be used in space and can accompany regular TIE fighters. Their presence in the final battle especially makes sense because it takes place above a planet where it would be most useful for shifting supplies and personnel from orbit to the planet surface and to fend off any attackers if the shield goes down. They should be seen orbiting the planet and moving up to the battle when the fight heats up.

Maybe they can be added in the huge formations when the Emperor arrives, or escorting cargo ships from the surface to the DS2…
