One thing I’m curious about is the sequence of the Death Star firing. It’s always bugged me even as a kid that this was just reused footage from A New Hope. Does Rogue One offer anything extra to mix it up a bit?
Rogue One has similar but new shots in almost the same order as ANH. Not sure how identical DS1 and DS2’s control rooms should be.

Made this comparison of all the firing sequences. Alderaan & Yavin are different takes of the same shots with Yavin having the sequence of Han saving Luke and Luke firing the torpedos inserted halfway through, Endor is the Alderaan shots slightly out of order with the actual barrel shot mirrored (because the DS2 is firing towards screen right), while Jedha and Scarif are dynamic recreations of the ANH firing sequence with Scarif seeming faster because there’s no shots cut between them.

He did a good job? It sounds like someone on a phone in their garage.
I see that the wall frame left has the mirrored frame right wall from the SE.
REPORT-ESB-v2.0

Muzzle flashes illuminate the cockpits of the walkers, an effect not in the original.Apologies if this has already been reported; I do not have the wherewithal to comb the thread and see.
These are in the original, off by a frame.
Confirmed 2004 fix.
Nope. Cockpit shot with y wing in the background. Early in the fight.
Found it, adding.
The shot of Luke I was referring to was during the line “I copy Gold Leader”, I was just giving a visual so you can find the error on the Y-Wing prior to that.
And yes, I probably was watching the 1.0 version.
Nope, you were right. I was talking about a different shot.
Damn. Must have been something they fixed in 97 that slipped in.
Edit: Hmm. I swear I knew about this change, but I don’t think I see it in either Harmy’s Despecialized Gallery or doubleofive’s change gallery. That explains how it missed my spot checking at the end, but I could have sworn it was, at one point, in such a gallery.
So we’re not talking about this one?

Though Blu-ray.com sorts them under “007”, which I guess is more accurate to the sets I have.
There’s a female pilot in the battle already who speaks with a man’s voice. She’s going to be redubbed, and new pilots will be filmed and added.
Oh really, I didn’t know that. Wow that’s weird. I need to watch ROTJ again.
Look for the line, “Got it”.
I updated my post with a link (2:29 in):

The coins are dumb too. I’ll have to watch the scene again but I’d like to remove that bit if possible, which would also allow the removal of the dumb CGI alien that feeds the coins into him in the first place. I liked most of the humor in TLJ but that bit didn’t work for me.
I can maybe understand this, but you wouldn’t have the sound of coins jangling inside of him later, which I found really funny.

Harmy, I was trying to find a way to download this amazing piece of work, and someone on youtube is burning these to blu rays and charging $45 for them. LDS Entertainment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwIbM_uS8aA&t=71s
Personally, as just a member here, I’d encourage everyone to downvote that video.
And upvote Harmy’s comment.

Or just further distort Kylo’s voice so that you can’t understand anything he says. Or replace all his lines with Bane.
I’m sure there’s a missing shot of Luke Force Snatching it out of Vader’s hand.
The easier thing to do would be to take advantage of the terrible crushed blacks of the SE and just erase it from Vader’s hand.
That’s amazing that Battlefront keeps that little detail.
I’ve never had a problem with lowering the shield to get onto the moon, as the animation they show on Home One shows the shield touching the surface and going up to DS2. My impression is the shield is generated out from the dish a few miles, then is directed up. The Ewok tribe they meet on the surface just happen to be now stuck in this bubble, giving them all the more reason to join the fight.
Mentioning that you don’t get a reference from outside of the movies a week after the reference was made and making it sound like we should be impressed is a weird thing.
Now this is cool. I especially love the cargo ships from TIE Fighter.
Some (most?) disc players can’t read AVCHD. Xbox’s can’t, for instance.
I haven’t really watched since Capaldi started, just go tired of Moffat’s stories like some have said here. I might pick back up with this next season though. New Doctor, new writers. Sounds great.
I’ve been waiting all day for someone to post this.
I don’t have any answers, it was just my first thought.

(ignore the prequel stuff, obviously)
