We had one a few years ago of making puppy chow, and have a movie marathon. Does it count if we only did it once and never again?

GoG is having a Tex sale to help promote the Kickstarter, so that should help.
I noticed that he was waving it pretty close to Obi-wan towards the end of that scene when we watched it the other day.TV's Frink said:
Here I went out of my way to think like you and you weren't even thinking like you! ;-)Anchorhead said:
I gave it no thought what so ever.
Coincidentally, however, I did watch 2001: A Space Odyssey on the 25th. Somewhat fitting, considering how some of the visuals for Star Wars were lifted from 2001.
This is what I did for the 35th:

I helped bring a little cynicism to Twitter by wishing it was still around for its 35th Anniversary.
I'd love for James Bond to be me!captainsolo said:
If they'd just admit that he's 005 I'd be perfectly fine. This new character is really some ex-SAS thug who gets promoted to being one of the other two 00 agents.
Who? ;-)greenpenguino said:
Holy crap! He looks like a Jim Henderson puppet!!
Definitely had a purple saber.ray_afraid said:
And here's a question for those in the know: Didn't Mara Jade have a purple blade? I've always had that in my mind, long before Sam Jack had his, but since Ep. II, everyone talks like Sams was the first and only purple blade in the galaxy. I didn't read the comics and really can't remember seeing any art related to the character so maybe I just made that up while reading the novels long ago.

Downloaded the "D&D Next" / 5th Edition playtest documents. Not planning to run it, just read over it. The core rules they're using reads pretty much like 3rd Edition to me. In fact, I don't see any difference. So it looks like Wizards of the Coast is planning to go back to 3e, but allow you the options to run it like a 4e campaign. The more I read of the playtest and the discussions on the D&D forums, the more I realize that I really like 4th Edition. I think its the edition for me, so when all the books are being sold at a discount to make room for the new edition, I will be there to buy them. I just hope that they keep the online tools up to date and still work on errata for it (which I sincerely doubt).
Also sent the last payment for our Geek Chic table, so it should go into production soon. We'll probably get it October/November. They deliver the tables themselves because they found it was a whole lot cheaper than shipping a giant solid wood tables across the country.

I'm sure you guys would know more than I, but when I left the theater the only thing I liked about the film were the 2 yellow lightsabers that were shown when all the Jedi start lighting up all over the arena. I remember one was close-up right side of frame (not the focus of the shot though) and the dude had some kind of dinosaur head. The other was in the distance and he (or maybe she) was show again during the fight at some point. But if you say they weren't there, I believe you. I haven't watched the film in almost 10 years and I'm not going back to find out!
There were no yellow sabers, but I can't blame you for blocking out AotC.ray_afraid said:
I hate to back up the prequels in any way, but IIRC, AOTC had blue, green, yellow, purple and red sabers. That's more colors than in the OP pic. What colors were you hoping for?
You could have Anakin get mad and yell "I HATE YOU!" every time someone around him messes up and ruins the scene.TV's Frink said:
^I like it!
With that "beep" they use in gag reels when they cut. I can see it now. You could make a whole gag reel with alternate jokes, as if the actors improved different lines on set.TV's Frink said:
I may do a deleted scene with a compilation of my favorite ones that I didn't end up using.
I just now looked at the picture and laughed. Looked again, and laughed again. Then I tried to drink my coffee and spit it all over myself.DuracellEnergizer said:

If you want to fluff your way through as an old Whovian knowing that line and "Eldrad must live".
They are the essentials.
"No.
Not the mind.
Probe."
I have a new favorite line.
I don't get the preoccupation with what celebrities are doing, or who they're dating, or what they're wearing.TV's Frink said:
Also, why do people get excited by celebrity birthdays?

Wow, Janeway has a birthday that only exists on Twitter?
I was excited it was Janeway's birthday on Twitter and you thought others might be as excited as I was.
Supposedly this is the official timeline. I think it's interesting that it focuses on "I am Iron Man" as the lynchpin of the whole thing.
I know, right? I think this is the official timeline.Doctor M said:
